I stayed here in a private room with my partner with a shared bathroom. Paid over 500 dollars for 6 nights, a good deal we thought judging by the new pictures online showing the 'renovations'. I honestly regretted my decision from the moment I walked into the reception. The floors were filthy and there was a horrible smell. Our room... More

The beds are cool with the curtains and the 'pod' effect but that's about it.. clearly the beds have been renovated but the rest of the hostel is very far behind! Terrible bathrooms and toilets, even worse plumbing in the showers and the kitchen is gross! The communal areas are pretty cool, great balcony and kitchen eating area but TV... More

I stayed in this hostel for 3 days over the weekend. Easily the worst hostel I've been in. I'll start with the Pros: Good wifi downstairs. Location is around the corner from good restaurants, and 10 minutes from shops and the beach. Now for the bad stuff. The weekend reminded me of a freshman frat party full of people who... More

Ok rooms the booths are nice with curtains as a nice touch and a plug usbs and a light for each bed. The communal areas are pretty good too. An annoyance was the bathroom was flooded for the majority of my stay which was fixed for a the last couple of days. But my major issue was the bouncer Shanham... More

We stayed here for a couple nights, the good bit was that the beds were comfy and you had a curtain for your bed but that's where it stops. You pay extra to have an ensuite, but the shower will go from freezing cold to boiling hot. The kitchen is dirty and to top it off we had an angry... More

Dorms have new beds that each have their own electrical ports, usb charging points, headlamps, and privacy curtain. New bathrooms are very clean/modern and the showers are properly hot (if you so desire that is). Staff is very chill and accommodating. Enough space in the kitchen dining area and the kitchen is kept clean. Free tea, coffee, and pancake mix.... More

I arrived in Melbourne late at night and the doors were locked at the hostel that I had booked. These guys were the closest place with someone on reception 24 hours so I checked in just for the night but ended up staying for a week. The atmosphere was great and I would definitely stay here next time I'm in... More
