First night we thought the water was very slow to drain away from both the shower and the sink and a rather large puddle from a leak appeared. Came back after a day out working to find the room had not been cleaned, so I used the wet towels from the previous evening to sop up the puddle and took...

The hosts were very pleasant to deal with, we had a group of 20 active older citizens and we were made very welcome and the rooms were very comfortable. the hosts went way beyond the normal by the way they "spoiled" us with complimentary happy hour food and also allowing us to light the fire for some extra comfort. I...

A group of 20 of us on motorbikes stayed overnight. The Manager, Elisabeth, went out of her way to welcome us. She gave us complimentary snacks to enjoy whilst sitting around the fire at night. The grounds and garden are very attractive and the continental breakfast was good. Highly recommended

When we arrived at this motel, my wife went to reception to pick up the room key. Lady on reception was very rude and unwelcoming.. We went to the room and first thing we noticed was how outdated it was. Secondly it had one PowerPoint for the fridge, kettle and anything else you wanted to plug in. It had a...

My two week stay at the Captain's Lodge International was delightful. The service was fantastic, the meals were even better, took me back to the European home cooked meals my mother used to make. I enjoyed my stay with Elisabeth and Alex immensely.

Sorry to say, but this is a very sad and worn out motel. The shower floor was so uneven with broken tiles which came out of the '70's. I wasn't game to have a shower, I needed my toes in working order. If a few bob was spent on this motel, it would and could be a great place, it...

While the place definitely needs renovations, we loved that it was well back from the road and set around beautiful gardens with a lovely pool area in the centre. You have two entrances, one from the carpark and one from the garden area. The bed was new and very comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and we enjoyed great food...

I got what I paid for in terms of money value. The room was very old fashioned and the floor showed some wear and tear, and the bathroom didn't feel right. If it wasn't for the flatscreen LCD tv in the room, I would have thought it was the 1960's. The motel also lacked wifi, which seems to be the...

We stayed on Friday night and management let us come in at midday to get ready for our appointment, thank you. We found the unit very clean, everything worked and bed very comfortable. The grounds and gardens are maintained, looked very good with the swimming pool full. Motel is in a great position, well back from the main road, could...
