My mum and I loved our stay at the Mercure Geelong. The staff were so friendly and helpful, from the first instance I made the booking on the phone, the young gentleman was so helpful, upon arriving the lady at reception was equally obliging and friendly, the lady behind the bar was also great, (excellent vino too) and on exiting...

The rooms are comfortable enough, and a very generous size - worth it for two people or if you are staying a bit longer. But it's very tired and needs a do-over. Staff are helpful but there's an appearance of budget constraints there too: room service order forgotten and erratic supplies in the bathroom. And incorrect reporting of room as...

The Mercure is in a convenient location with fairly easy access to the main areas of the CBD and outer Geelong. Being on top of a hill, you get a great view over the city and the bay (dependent on room type). Check-in was easy and efficient. The rooms are large offering plenty of space, and being an older hotel...

Yes, this hotel is definitely looking tired. Our room was quite spacious with a great view over the city and bay but overall, everything in it seemed a bit grotty and old. A major renovation of this hotel would not go astray as the location is very, very good. It's easy walking to everything Geelong has on offer! The breakfast...

My mother and I stayed at the Mercure for a graduation weekend. On arrival the staff very kindly checked us in early, and also upgraded us. They also accommodated our request to have rooms near each other, giving us adjoining rooms. Once we got to the rooms another hotel employee noticed that we were walking between the rooms via the...

Hotel is looking tired, our room was dirty, esp batrhroom, it smelt like vomit behind bed, carpet stained in spots, cups and glasses for two people - we booked for four, thought parking and wifi was included in price - it wasn't..... we were overall a bit disappointed

This is my third visit to the Mercure Geelong. It is a really good place to stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious. Would be great if you could have some connecting rooms for families though. Plenty of car parking. Gourmet breakfast . Will definitely stay again.

The Mercure Geelong was a nice quiet hotel. The location is fantastic , the waterfront and Westfields are only a 10 minute walk away. The only bad thing was the service at the front desk was very slow and they charge you $18.00 per night to park your car. Otherwise fantastic
