There's nothing much around Waterfront Retreat so it's the perfect place to get away from it all. We had a great, very spacious and well-appointed self contained cabin for two. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The 'resort' itself was well kept and the cabins were nicely spaced apart. It was a little too chilly for...

One of the bet places I have ever stayed, friendly and helpful staff, I was able to hand feed friendly kangaroos right outside my lodge. Used a canoe and bikes at the retreat. A very relaxing and exciting experience. Can't wait to go back again. Highly recommended. Awesome experience

Our two bedroom unit had everything one might need, magnificent view of the Lake and jetty, Kangaroos at our door, abundant bird life and amazing Banksias for shelter and shade. The beds were extremely comfortable, the many activities all included in the package at no extra cost. The pool and spa was a great way to relax at the end...

We recently had a long weekend at the Waterfront Retreat and found it wonderful! The cottages were very well appointed and maintained, the heated pool was fantastic, a perfect temperature for the kids and plenty of room for everyone to enjoy it, the spa was also a nice experience even in the summer months and the kangaroo visits at your...

Thank you for your review we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us.We look forward to you staying with us again. The pool is solar heated all year round and topped up during school holidays (even winter holidays) and long weekends. We do find it is the most popular facility where the children and adults alike enjoy.

We travelled 4hr to Wattlepoint & thought that it was well worth it. Stayed in the 2 bedroom Steamer Lodge, which was very clean & well maintained. Everything was just as described in the info video. Including Kangaroos to your door, which could be hand fed. Also lots of birdlife, seed provided for them. Debbie was very understanding when we...

We had a 2 bedroom cottage with direct lake views. Absolutely beautiful surroundings and superfriendly staff. There is a lot to do in the retreat from swimming in the pool to hiring pushbikes. But our favourite was feeding the kangaroos.

The kids loved feeding the birds and kangaroos with the food provided. They also enjoyed having the freedom to go off and play tennis and explore the grounds by bike, plus choose a board game or DVD from the reception. The staff looked after us really well.

Lovely setting, extremely quiet and private, pool, spa, canoes, bird and kangaroo watching all fabulous - little need to leave the site for all ages. Cottage spacious for 4 with 2 bathrooms, great balcony to relax and cook on. What was left to be desired was a meticulous clean of the unit and kitchen utensils, there were also many spiders...
