I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions, location is great, rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is great to have a king size bed and a large bathroom with full size bathtub....bliss. The onsite restaurant serves a great breakfast. Ruth on reception is a gem, overall I rate this as an excellent place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sebel. Our room was amazing! Very clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was convenient and within wailing distance to the centre of Launceston and the Cataract Gorge. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

As I'd read good and bad reviews I went along with an open mind. The lady, Michelle, who was on reception was so welcoming and friendly. I had an unusual booking which I was concerned about, but she made it all go smoothly. She's a real asset that this hotel. The rooms were spacious and homely. Thankfully we didn't hear...

We could not believe that we were able to wash our hiking clothes in our room. This was the perfect hotel from which to start and end our walk in Cradle Mt. We also enjoyed the dinners in the restaurant.

3 couples travelled from Sydney to Launceston. Accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. Hotel in a good position able to walk around everywhere without use of a vehicle . Staff are very courteous and willing to help and the hotel has a gym.

Rooms was lovely and big, liked that you could go outside on balcony or open door and get fresh air. Only worry was toilet didn't have exhaust fan and was like walking into a cupboard for the toilet. Staff were friendly. Clock bells were ok, not as bad as I thought they may have been from other reviews. Location was...

The Sebel is centrally located with most things in the city in walking distance. Front desk were efficient and courteous. 2nd floor apartment was large and fully appointed with kitchen and laundry facilities although not needed for 1 night stay. Large bed and large bathroom.

Staff were fine, rooms were clean and a decent size. No real complaints but there are a few things people should be aware of if they're not already; * Location is not too far from the town clock, which chimes loudly every hour. * Parking is not provided free of charge * There was no free in-room wifi
