We book through Lastminute a 2 bedroom apartment. Booking asked you how many people is staying in each room. Our surprise was at our arrival when receptions gave us 2 set of key as we have booked 2 apartments. Lack of service had few stages: 1. The day before I've called the hotel to advise we were 4 people and...

Came over for a family function. Hadn't heard a great deal about this place, now I know why. Maybe I should have read reviews or called the hotel direct; but it was a last minute decision to come over. Upon entering reception it was cold and uninviting, had to wait awhile for the receptionist, I told her I had a...

I don't understand where the 4 star rating comes from for this establishment. The place itself is easy to get to with plenty of parking for cars. That's probably the best thing I can say about the place overall however. Upon arrival (after a long drive from the lower east coast) we were coolly greeted by the person on reception....

We booked the spa room on top floor for two nights as part of our wedding anniversary trip to Tasmania. The room is very run down and needs a total refurbishment. Bathroom window was cracked, bathroom exhaust fan doesn't work properly, bedside tables scratched, mattress was sinking no support at all, spa bath was very old and decrapit it look...

Have stayed here numerous times. Decor a little dated, but always spotless. Staff very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to restaurant and CBD. Nice a quiet atmosphere with balconies and street parking.

Pros: Location was close to shops. Large sized 2-bdr apartment with view of city from balcony and kitchenette. Off-street parking (tight space on a slope). Cons: This place was the most expensive (rate per night) out of the 4 places that we stayed at across Tasmania and in the worst state. Building and given apartment was rather run-down and could...

Make sure you ask for a room on floor 2 or above. This is to get the expansive views ou to the Tamar as well as be about the noise of the carpark. Well located. Comfortable, clean, friendly staff, easy access from carpark to lifts. We had 2 bedroom room and the kitchen was well appointed with oven, stovetop, utensils,...

We stayed here for three nights up to New Year's Day. I knew from Google Earth that the area was steep - and the entrance drive drops alarmingly to a slanting car park. The only limitation that placed on us was not being up to walk into town and back which is possible with an ordinary degree of fitness. We...
