Travelling with a professional group. Check in was efficient. Room very comfortable and warm. Bathroom good. Dining enjoyable. Staff went to much trouble to ensure safe return of an item I inadvertently left at the hotel.

Stayed for one night, the room was comfortable with very good heating in the bathroom as well. Check in was smooth and the city centre is a short walk away. Would stay here again, has parking on site close to rooms. Breakfast can be ordered but we chose to have breakfast on our journey to St. Helens.

We decided to dine in house with our 4 children (aged 8-12) and I was very disappointed that the children's menu was very limited, had mostly frozen food reheated and cost $12.50 for meagre portions i.e. 1 and 1/2 "chicken nuggets" with a handful of chips and lettuce (most kids won't eat). Not the most family friendly location as no...

Good location, plenty of parking, nice bathroom. Room was very small and the decor tired (except for the bathroom which was large and tastefully renovated). Well priced when on sale, normal prices aren't worth it though.

We stayed for a week and loved Tasmania. It was very cold but nice to come back to a room where the heater worked and had plenty of hot water. The location is great as you can walk into town which we did a couple of times. I didn't like the Royal Oak hotel for meals. The food was not...

We only stayed a night here but wouldn't have minded staying longer. The young lady on reception was super friendly & helpful & obviously enjoys her job which was a great start to the stay. The room was very neat & clean, nice view off the balcony & plenty of parking as well. There is a lovely park across the...

This establishment is excellent, the staff very helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and spacious with access to WiFi. The bathroom was of the highest standard. Plenty of room for luggage and hanging space. I highly recommend this establishment.

We stayed here for one night, in a comfortable spacious room. The location is good -- opposite a park, and walking distance to the restaurants on George Street. The reception staff is friendly and helpful.

We had a one night stay prior to flying out early the next day. Going by past reviews we decided on this place. This a basic motel. We had room 33. The motel is placed on a hill with the steepest driveway you are ever likely to encounter. The decor is very tired, the carpet was old and the bathroom...

I don't normally title a review talking about showers but it really was amazing. The shower uses a cutting edge shower head that sort of misted the water under pressure. Other than that, the rooms were spacious and very clean. Lots of parking, close to interesting areas and, even though it is located on a main road, it was very...
