I chose this B&B, as I was staying in the town for a triathlon and I hoped that a B&B would be more accommodating of my early (5:45am) start for the race. I was not disappointed. Absolutely nothing was too much bother for our hosts. They volunteered to be up and have breakfast ready for us before we set off...

Just come back from Hilltop Lodge B&B, and it was fantastic! Margaret went that extra mile to ensure that you had a comfortable stay and had everything you needed. The Hilltop Lodge surpassed expectations of what a B&B could offer, as we had been to one previously which just offered us a box of cereal in the morning, where as...

This is a very comfortable B&B, excellent service, hospitality and food. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet retreat. Its only a short drive to the beach which is worth it for the secluded location. Thanks Margaret and Bob!

Great place to stay. Wonderful hosts who went more than the extra mile. Breakfast was absolutely superb and no problem about special dietary requirements (vegan). Highest recommendation and this was my first time staying at a b&b. Thank you.

My husband and I together with our son and daughter in law stayed at the Hill Top Lodge on Mother's Day this year. We were greeted by Margaret and Bob Spiers and immediately made to feel very welcome and at home. The accommodation was first class and beautifully appointed. Extra touches included a cheese and anti pasta plate on arrival...

We stayed here over the Easter Weekend and were fortunate enough to experience both rooms available. Great choices for breakfast and especially liked having our own private table. Margaret & Bob were the perfect hosts and my wife and...
