Well I don't know where to start! my 2 friends and I booked I nights accommodation at this resort. We were very disappointed. We had a Hunter room, no 202.. It was small and basic, but our biggest issue was the smell!! Although there was no visible mould, the musty ,mouldy smell was over powering. We had to sleep with... More

Thank you for your feedback. We investigated your comments regarding the bathroom, and identified a serious issue with the bathroom drainage. Plumber has been, and $700 later, issue has been rectified. Our sincere apologies, not the normal guest experience.... please come back and stay as our guest. Please contact me directly to arrange. We stayed at Hunter Valley Resort for our 36th Wedding Anniversary on a whim. From arrival to departure, all interactions with staff were friendly and very helpful. Wine and beer tasting along with viticulture tours helped to broaden our palate knowledge and interests. We are very grateful for the wonderful memories.

Booked a package deal, which included dinner, but restaurant tried to charge us and blamed reception, reception then blamed the restaurant. Pizza dough was raw, staff never greeted you or smiled.

The hotel staff were excellent, the king studios were in excellent condition and well kitted out - the vaulted ceilings making the room light and airy. the restaurant was good and the breakfast was set out with a lovely garden and pool view, although I didn't find the freshly brewed coffee was very nice. Service was good and the location... More

We have had a wonderful stay at the wonderful garden resort, the location is right in the center of the wine country with beautiful garden, the staff are warm and friendly and show true country hospitality. We had dinner on Saturday night and was surprised by such an excellent fine dinning place with beautiful food at such a good price.... More

I bought a groupon voucher which included two nights at the resort and upgraded to the spa room. The room was reasonable enough, not 5 star wow, but quite acceptable. The staff were great! Nathan at the cellar door is very friendly. The wine education stuff is great. I learnt a lot which made my whole stay in the Hunter... More

Hunter Valley Resort was a very memorable experience. The scenery was amazing and so lovely to go for a walk in the morning with a coffee. Everything was top class and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We were in a group of 15 adults and when we were on a winery tour, the staff at Hunter Valley... More

We bought a groupon voucher which included two nights at the resort. Our room was cozy, with clean amenities and a decent size. It is quiet and you can park pretty much out front of your room. The resturants and reception are a short walk from rooms which is good. The food at the resturant was nice and good variety.... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here as part of our anniversary celebrations. Our room was really cosy and comfortable and the staff at reception were extremely helpful. The facilities on site were excellent and the breakfast also very satisfying for $15.

We visited this hotel (with my wife and adult daughter). We had a room which had a double bed and a lounge bed, which could fit a 4th person if you pull out a bed from underneath. So, you need to know that he accommodation is more cabin style. It is not 5 star. But it's nice. the rooms were... More
