this was a really good spot to have a meeting. great accomodation, plenty of entertainment and activities for family members not attending the meeting. Heaps of meeting space with a very accomodating staff. The wine tasting room is gorgeous for a more intimate and unique setting. The brewhouse restaurant is great for an impromptu meet up before and after the... More

The facilities and accommodation are just right for a stay in the Hunter. Easily reached from the new Hunter Expressway it is within a short drive of some of the best wineries in the area. Staff were very helpful and enthusiastic in the restaurant, bar and shop. Our two bedroom cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable for two couples. The... More

We were recommended this location by the Big I a couple of miles away as they had an excellent deal on a family room. Booking in was easy and parking available right next to our room. Room good sized, in fairly good condition and, most importantly, clean. A short walk to the wine tasting and after a few tasters, we... More

Pros: Comfortable bed Good location near wineries Staff are friendly Cons: Walls are not soundproof. Got minimal sleep because I could hear the conversations of a family next door all through midnight Furniture in room deteriorating - whole room feels old and in need of a facelift. Felt like I was in a 2 star motel on the side of... More

Booked our two night stay through a Groupon special deal. The accommodation was reasonable and the amenities clean and comfortable. Surprised to discover on return to our room on day two that it wasn't serviced.

As value for money goes this resort falls far short. We stayed in a spa cabin , not a lot of privacy as it is attached to another spa cabin, we could hear our neighbours through the shared wall ! Over all the whole resort needs a make over , the grounds are poorly tended , our cabin and the... More

Good location for vineyards. Nice outlook from room. Didn't try any activities but seem to have a few things on. Room in serious need of upgrade (bathroom & furnishing), very dreary. Not worth the money.

Hunter Valley Resort organised my entire Hen's Night - from the tour during the day to the excellent three course dinner and the overnight accomodation for 15 people. Dealings with them were easy, flexible and very affordable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the resort offers extra activities such as the wine school, beer tasting palate, massage and segway. We had such fun riding the segway cross-country and around the vines on the Hunter Valley Resort property, and also along a track to McGuigan's vines. We could walk across the... More
