The rooms and the hotel have just been refurbished. Very well kept gardens and lovely outlook over the hunter valley and paddocks. Not much for the kiddies to do though. Only issue is noisy refrigerator. Not too bad during the day but at 2:00 o'clock in the morning it is a loud drone. We had to turn it off at...

Due to an overbooking elsewhere, we found ourselves at the Sebel, and do not regret the fact it was changed. We benefited by receiving one of the luxury suites and breakfast each day, and as a result got to experience more of the Sebel than we otherwise would. I would recommend this place to couples. There are acres to walk...

We stayed for one night, April 2017. The rooms are nicely decorated and the views are stunning. Staff were friendly and polite. Very good location for the Pokolbin winery tours. With staying only one night, we didn't really get to explore the grounds, but from our balcony, everything looked very well-kept. All peaceful and relaxing! But as others have pointed...

Dear Mseasons, Thank you for taking the time to give feedack on your stay. You know that saying never judge a book by its cover? This is a very good example. Looks great from a marketing point of view but for $1400 for 3 nights is just not worth it. Greg Natale did a great job to give the Sebel a interior face lift but everything else lets it down. Let me explain. On...

We booked this hotel as it is one of the Accor hotel brands. The hotel was lovely, beautiful, convenient location, good bedding and lines. The bathroom amenities are good, but limited. The service was also limited as we had to find our way to check in, carry our own bags and find our own rooms. It was my first time...

Dear Supa-arpha, Thank you for your recent stay and comments on our hotel being lovely and beautiful. We certainly have luggage assistance available by request however, being in a regional location with a boutique hotel you will not find the same services as Thailand or larger city hotels such as valet, bellman etc etc. Thank you for our feedback on...

Our room was just as shown on the photos. It overlooked lovely rural scenery. The rooms were very clean & the bed very comfortable. Loved the old style bathroom. The staff were extremely helpful giving us advise as to where to lunch etc. There is a restaurant on site but we didn't use it during our stay.

This was our first visit to the Sebel in the Hunter. What a surprise. We dropped by at the Lounge Bar and what a great place for ambience. The Lounge area also provided a good casual menu. We sampled the Tapas menu (including Salt & Pepper Calamari) which certainly lived up to our expectations. The overall atmosphere is one of...

We (family of four) have just returned from a two night visit to the recently refurbished hotel. The rooms are amazing, the designer has done a wonderful job, with beautiful blue/black/gold tones. The rooms are spacious, lovely amenities in the bathroom and very comfortable beds. The swimming pool and spa were enjoyed by myself and daughter while the tennis court...

We stayed there for a friend's wedding for 3 nights. It was the most pleasant experience I've had in a while. The staff were fantastic (Especially a girl named Jayde who worked at the bar). They made sure everyone was looked after well. The rooms were massive. Due to a friend booking the wrong nights, they gave us their room...

The hotel is an older style with cleanly appointed rooms. The room we stayed in had no bath, and basic amenities, but was still clean and fresh. The meals were tender and delicious, but simple, with the breakfast being a basic continental style. Staff were polite, but predominantly female. (Not that this is a criticism, just an observation. We did...
