Bathroom shower curtain grotty-no elec blanket-( Orange had a very cold night 3 degrees(noisy old air con-thankfully electric wall heater which eventually made the icy room more comfortable-...

We stayed here as we know the new owners: wonderful people with deep knowledge of the hospitality world. Step by step they are renovating and uplifting this wee gem. Beautiful gardens, great F&B, and the new deluxe room is a sign of things to come. Don't miss it...and watch this space for more amazing changes.

Stay mid January 2017 We booked because of the lower price ($110 a night), but still paid too much. To add insult to injury we found a recent receipt in the room for $56 a night. So 2 things that showed us, bad housekeeping and we had been ripped off. This would have been a flash establishment in the late...

This was the cheapest place we could find in the Orange area. The room was large enough to accommodate our grand-children and ourselves in comfort. Three single beds and a large double. We all slept well and undisturbed by any traffic noise or snoring from the adjoining rooms. The hotel is sixties style but very clean. Too cold to use...

Place is recently under new management so it's updated, much better than the prior reviews I read and photos posted. I'm glad I took a chance as it was so close to everywhere I wanted to go. My number 1 priority-really great location, easy to get to town center even by walking and 10 minutes by car to trails and...

Stayed at this hotel only because it was close to wedding we were attending. Whilst the staff were very pleasant it is a very old and tired hotel. There was no information booklet as to what the hotel offered (only a pool), there was a restaurant on site but there was no menu to look. We may have tried the...

Very disappointing, carpet felt damp, ancient AC with no front cover, bare lights, no fly screens, holes in curtains half hanging, paint peeling. We really wanted to give the place a go to support new ownership. However, the renovations and repairs have a long way to go before it is acceptable/priced reasonably. I wish the news owners the best as...

We only stayed one night at the Sundowner Oriana, but would happily stay there again if we were to re-visit Orange. The motel sits well back from the road, is very quiet, and the rooms are unusually large and very comfortable, The staff are very friendly as is often the case with country motels. We did not use the restaurant...

First a disclosure - The new owners are friends of ours and we are so happy to welcome them to Orange The team at the Oriana has been busy deep cleaning rooms (mostly done) and fixing defects (underway) I have had the pleasure of trying the daily menu twice since launch and on both occasions the meal over delivered in...
