I have stayed at this place twice now and can say that the food here is very good and very reasonably priced (T-Bone $15.95). Rooms are dated but they are renovating the rooms. Easy walk to centre of Albury. Friendly staff and have accomodated every request I have asked for.

You get what you pay for. And I was on a quick run to Albury and just needed a bed for the night and didn't want to pay much for it. So this is where I stayed due to the great price offered through Agoda. This hotel is an older style building attached to a hotel/bistro arrangement and it's not...

I booked the Astor after reading reviews it was a good, clean budget motel. When I arrived, it is an old complex, attached to a hotel. My first allocated room had a broken door handle so I trudged back in 32 degree heat and was allocated a new room. To say the room have sub standard features is an understatement....

We visit here quite often for lunch. They offer a 2 course meal for $13 which is very tasty and delicious. Anything from schnitzels, parmigiana, fish, curried sausages etc. Sweets like fresh fruit salad, pav, trifle etc. All fresh ingredients. Can highly recommend.

We stayed at the Astor for a one night stop over travelling both to and from Bateman's Bay. We often book 3 star accommodation and are usually quite happy with the modest rooms we are given. We are not very fussy people, but this hotel's sub-standard ammenities should give it a 2 star rating, not 3 star. There was no...

We needed a room for one night in albury so we chose one that is near everything. As we arrived the reception was closed so we had to go to the main bar to make a booking. Our room was on the second floor and was told that we can access wifi for free. The parking lot at the front...

We stayed here on Wednesday night, the only thing I would suggest Get new beds the room we were in Upstairs 210, it was like a brick, not good for someone with a bad back. And the shower kept going from hot to cold, then very cold, to boiling hot, a down stairs room would have been better as we...

Pro's. Good location, handy to the freeway. Con's. Very dated, limited in room facilities (tea, coffee, tiny milk, tiny cups). Walk through the pub to find someone to check in. Curtins don't block out. Carpet sticky and stained. In a nutshell, I'd be very surprised if you couldn't find a better deal in town then this place.

If you are looking for a great meal at lunchtime, go to the Astor. Only $12 for a huge main meal AND dessert, the meals are lovely, great friendly staff make it a nice place to go to. I highly recommend it for lovely lunch that's value for money.
