Only accommodation I could get the night before the marathon so I was skeptical, but it was great. Friendly staff, good hot clean showers (with no extra coins required), good kitchen facilities, TV room with big sofas, lovely outdoor eating area, quiet tent sites on soft flat ground.

We camped here for two nights for the Buller half marathon. I wanted to start by saying the service we received when we checked in was fantastic. The staff were under quite a lot of pressure but they kept there sense of humour, were knowledgeable and courteous. We stayed in our own camper van. The facilities were ok, a few...

Stayed here for a night during the summer and wished we stayed longer! Brilliant mini golf course, even in the rain. Good kitchen facilities. Large shelter with barbeque and picnic tables which still protect you from the rain. Very generous internet - $5 for 10GB overnight. Wonderful hostess that takes pride in Westport and surrounding areas.

the lady at the check in desk was friendly and has the kind of personality this industry sometimes lacks. Good to see people enjoying their work! For a big franchise holiday park this place has bags of character. Loved the plant life and the a frame cabins

Hi Jon Really glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. Our Chalets have been a hit this year with the changers that we have made to them, including linen and crockery. Hope to see you again on your travels around the South Island.

We are travelling in a campervan and have stopped here in Westport for the night. A powered site has cost us 42NZD. There is a dump station but it is not in the best position for manouvering such a heavy vehicle. Having said that, we did not book ahead. We arrived at 6.30pm and there was still a site. The...

Found the prices a bit higher that expected, however they did have a mini golf course which was good. Camped an evening there with kids in their tent too, was quite and facilities seemed all good. Shower pressure was rather low, normally they are quite good at holiday parks.

So pleased that you enjoyed your stay. The mini-golf has been a huge hit this summer with families playing at all times of the day. Hope to see you again.

From the out set the booking was messed up. Was charged double what we were quoted and facilities were not acceptable. The chalet was nothing more than an unsecured garden shed with a couple of beds in it. They should be described as huts as there is no insulation and construction is little more than plywood. We were given a...

The Standard Chalet that was booked had 1 double and 2 single beds, a fridge, cutlery, crockery and all beds were made up with linen. The Chalet is fully insulated and has the latest heater in it. Plus the amenities block is right opposite for all other facilities. We also offered to upgrade to our new Studio Motels. This booking...

I stayed a few night here on my South Island vacation in my camper van. My powered site (which I was able to choose) was lovely, right by the bush. The amenities were great, there was a bonus of an aviary and an adjacent kid'd mini golf course, It was close to town, an easy walk and I would stay...
