Having travelled for 12 hours to arrive in Westport for the weekend, we found out when we arrived that we had to travel back for a family emergency. We found Pauline and Bruce not only incredibly friendly but also very understanding of our situation. It was lovely to arrive to the warm, well appointed cottage and although it was dark...

This place was everything advertised and more. Very comfortable and setting was amazing. Nice cliff walks nearby and Pauline's garden is spectacular. Best view in the area. Quiet--set back from the main house with no noisy neighbors. Equiped with everything we needed to spend two nights cooking our own food and enjoying the sunsets. You can't find anyplace better in...

Spacious, clean, every item you could think of to make a perfect stay. Very comfortable bed and a view out of this world. Can walk to the cape foulwind walkway and only 10 minutes from Westport and then can travel further up the coast.

We had one of our best stays in New Zealand at this charming and well-appointed B&B. We stayed at the self-contained studio for 1 night and had everything we needed. It was appointed with a fridge, microwave, sink, dishes, cutlery, etc and fixings for continental breakfast. The gardens and sea views were magnificent. We had not pre-booked this stay, so...

We stayed here for 2 nights, and would happily go back in the future. Read the other reviews for more info - but here are some tidbits. We stayed in the 'Cottage' - which I would definitely rate as a better option than the 'Studio'. -There was a box of toys for our young girl to play with, and a...

Beautiful cottage and studio. Comfortable beds, nice decoration, amazing garden with FANTASTIC views on the ocean. Table and chairs outside overlooking the sea. Good kitchen with cereals and toasts. Washer and dryer in the cottage. Close to Westport. Very romantic. I would love to stay there again. Dinner available at the Star Tavern which is a 5 minutes walk from...

We stayed here one night in March 2013, it was wonderful and we wished we had booked to stay longer. One of the best memories of our stay in New Zealand. Fabulous views, garden, accommodation tranquil. Recommend it for a quiet stop on a tour of New Zealand

We stayed in the studio for one night but were then able to move into the cottage for our second night. The studio is just a small converted room (next to the garage) and has no view but the self contained cottage is much better. The host were fine and welcoming and the Steeples is well placed for walking along...
