My son and I were fortunate enough to stay at this little piece of paradise and take a fly fishing package as well. Andy, Lou and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and took in the magnificent lake and mountain views from the lounge. We experienced superb breakfasts and dinners with superb local Chardonnays and...

Fiordland Lodge on Lake Te Anau is the place to stay in Fiordland. Andy, Lou and the staff provide impeccable service and the food is terrific. The setting is as majestic as you could possibly imagine and the lodge has so much charm. It is very convenient to Milford and Doubtful Sounds which should not be missed. The access to...

We stayed at Fiordland lodge on the way to Doubtful Sound. Without a doubt, one of the nicest places that we stopped in New Zealand. It is not cheap, but that is tempered by the fact that you feel that it is worth it. The location and view are hard to beat. I cannot imagine what this place cost to...

We (3 of us from Singapore) were in this gorgeous property in the new year. This lodge has everything - stunning views, amazing food, great location, adventure activities, awesome staff. Thanks a lot Andy, Lou, Jenny, Sara, Rachael, Kasia - you made our stay truly memorable. I am sure we will be back.

My family was fortunate to get a room in this lodge during the busy Christmas season. The facility is "top-notch", with fine dinning and a spectacular view. Andy and his team were very attentive and helped us to plan on all our excursions - cruise at Milford sound, held-hike that took us straight from our lawn to the mountain top,...

Excellent in all departments. Staff are attentive and knowledgable, the food and wine are excellent and the location ideal for visiting this part of Fiordland. Thoroughly recommended for couples/adults. Probably not as good for a young family.

Driving from Queenstown to Milford Sound on a day trip is plain nonsense. Base yourself in Te Anau from where you can explore all in a more relaxed way and include also Doubtful Sound. Staying at this lodge is an experience. Such a stunning architecture and refined service by very classy Andy (a co owner and manager) is unexpected at...

Dear Stefan, Thank you for your detailed feedback regarding your recent stay at Fiordland Lodge. We’re delighted that you and your friends chose to stay with us for a 4th occasion and correct 3 nights certainly allows for a more thorough experience of this amazing destination. I enjoyed our chats and our hosting style is intentionally low-key - designed to...

Andy, the manager , is a gem of a man, nothing is too difficult to organise. Folks, if you have the opportunity, try this truly great...

My husband and I spent four nights at the lodge. This was definitely a splurge for our budget, but was worth it. We opted to stay in one of their cabins, which provided us with additional privacy that we appreciated. The lodge is in a stunning location, offering amazing views of Lake Te Anau and the surrounding mountains. Its position...
