I really enjoyed my stay at Takaro Lodge. I left feeling and looking much younger! It is one of the few if not the only retreat that really relaxes you on a deep level. They use healing with the help of the 5 element chalets, organic food, herbs and unique massage therapies. I release a lot of stress in a...

My holidays at Takaro Were a big surprise. Friends recommended me to go there but I guess there are no words to describe this beautiful, untouched place. You just need to go there and feel it. The nature, the wooden houses with grass on the roof,....and peace - I mean real peace: no cars, no airplanes, no buses,... Even the...

I recently met up with a colleague of mine in New Zealand for a most wonderful week at Takaro Lodge. I loved the relaxing ambiance of the place, and the attentive service from the staff at all times, was most welcome. It included special life classes, morning exercises, daily spine massage, organic meals, lots of herbal teas and relaxations plus some sightseeing and excursions. I loved shopping in Queenstown and the Cruise on Lake Te Anau to the...

Coming to New Zealand was a completely new experience for me coming from Europe but nothing can be compared with coming to Takaro Lodge. The nature I felt at Takaro Lodge was the purest and the cleanest I have ever seen. Mountains which surround Takaro Lodge are magnificent in their grandeur and the river is crystal clear. I was overwhelmed...
