We stayed for 3 nights, and wished we could have stayed longer. Winn and Henrik were incredibly gracious, helpful and friendly. The guest unit is a standalone structure, fully equipped with a cooktop, oven, clothes washer, dish washer and gas barbecue. Just based on the quality of the accommodations this would be an easy 5 star B&B. But there is...

An amazing property with brilliant views, the best hosts you could hope to find. We stayed here for a couple of nights in the 2 bedroom cottage and were made to feel very welcome. The animals are engaging and it was wonderful to see a 17 year old act like he was 3 when surrounded by the friendly menagerie. My...

I'm not one for gushing reviews but the superlatives are all true. We are cynical, fussy, frequent travellers so I was a bit skeptical about all the 5 star reviews. However Win and Henrik have created an extraordinary retreat in beautiful country. Quality linens, stylish modern furnishings and all required amenities. The fridge was very well stocked with homemade venison...

We loved this place! The view is stunning. My husband, 9-year old daughter and I stayed for two nights and wish we had stayed longer. We stayed in the smaller Chalet, with a cot. It was the perfect size for us. My daughter loved the sheep, alpacas and deer. We got a great tour of the paddock from Henrick. We...

1. Lodging: We loved our stay here in the apartment - very peaceful, serene, and restorative. Natural light permeates the residence from generous Windows and skylights (perfect for star-gazing while cozy in bed!) The space is beautifully decorated in calming shades of cream, gray and white. Beds are firm and luxurious, and there are various nooks and crannies with plush...

We spent one night in this wonderful farmstay which is still a working farm with 500 head of deer, sheep and other wonderful delights. The accommodation is a very nice, two bedroom chalet next to the main house, with it's own kitchen. It's close enough to the main house to feel part of the farm, but far enough away so...

Dusky Ridges is a very special place which created beautiful memories for our family. We stayed in the gorgeously appointed 2 bedroom cottage with our two children, aged 9 and 5. The cottage is so glamourous whilst homely with every beautiful 'accoutrement' possible.....daily fresh delicious baked goods, luxurious linen, indulgent beauty products, and a fab little kitchen. From the moment...

Thank you Win and Henrick for allowing us to stay on your farm. The teenagers loved meeting your animals, and the 2 bedroom apartment was so comfy. The brownies and brekky were yum! Views are beautiful, great location just outside of Te'Anau, very quiet.

Everything about this place was perfect. We arrived to freshly baked bread, fruit, and chocolate, along with a fridge stocked with farm-fresh goodies for breakfast. The two-bedroom unit was beautifully decorated down to the smallest detail and right away it felt like home. We fell in love with all the animals and spent loads of time with them. We visited...

Forget about cheesy lakeside accommodation - this is the place to stay in Te Anau! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Win and Henrik took great pride in running this B&B farmstay. Our 2-bedroom apartment was spacious, cosy and immaculate. Win spared no effort in ensuring we were well taken care of - the kitchen and fridge...
