Lovely place to stay. It is spacious, quiet and has serene lakeview to match. I find the kitchen of decent size too, which makes our stay a comfortable one. I would like to thank the reception front for tending to our request re changing light bulb and had installed a shower rack within half days notice. I would recommend this...

We stayed at the Oaks over 3 different nights. Its a nice walk along the lake into the town centre taking about 30 minutes. The staff were very helpful.Unfortunately they only give you 30 minutes of free wifi then you need to purchase extra time. Its nicely located not too far from the town centre and has a shuttle bus...

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the 1 bedroom deluxe apartment, and it exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, clean and felt like home away from home, with kitchen, lounge, dining room and ensuite bedroom. The added bonus was the fireplace and the beautiful view from our balcony. It was quiet, located away from the busyness of Queenstown...

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel. It is a bit of a rabbit warren having two buildings to navigate. If you are on the lower building you have to use the elevator to the basement then walk through the undercover carpark to the second building and catch the lift to either floor 8 or 9. You then either...

We stayed at oaks Shores for five nights in a Lakeview room. It had a stove top, cutlery and crockery, fridge, microwave and dishwasher and a small balcony. Great for a couple or a family of three. Very close to the town, less than ten minutes drive. The restaurant serves a nice pasta and a seafood entree dish. Good central...

We stayed in a 'hotel room' type accommodation for 7 nights and were not impressed. After staying in a few different places around the area, this is way overpriced, dated, noisy and in need of a renovation. The room was small, dated and lacking in amenity. The biggest issue we had with the place was the noise. Most rooms are...

Take a 'TakeMe' taxi from airport otherwise it will be 45 NZD which is very expensive for a 20 min journey. We stayed in room 506 and it was a huge open plan apartment more than enough for 4 adults. Sumptuous terrace overlooking Lake Wakatipu. Lovely fireplace to sit and relax infront of in the evening. All amenities inc. kitchen...

We had a marvellous time for 2 nights in a 3 BR apartment in Oak Shores. All the rooms were spacious especially the lounge, dining, kitchen area. It was a great space for the baby in our family to enjoy toddling around. We also had a grass area outside where we could relax and enjoy the fresh air and superb...

We stayed in a fabulous one bedroomed apartment on the 10th floor. The apartment was spacious with a large balcony and huge picture windows with wonderful views overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the mountains beyond. Although the living area and bedroom were lovely and spacious the bathroom was disproportionally small and somewhat disappointing. We had a laundry room with washing machine,...

“The room was cramped but view compensated, I guess. The towels were too small and not changed until we asked for fresh linen; admittedly it was Easter and we were told something about staff not being available. Overall, our stay was okay but we would prefer a bigger room and even a microwave as a minimum appliance.”
