Over a one-week period we spend several nights at CQ while traveling by bus to Milford Sound and the glaciers. We had to leave early in the morning to catch the bus and everyone at CQ was very accommodating to our hectic schedule. On our last morning despite the very early hour our host insisted on cooking us an incredible...

We recently stayed two nights at the Chalet. Jude welcomed us on arrival and was exceptionally helpful in advising us the best way to walk to Skyline (she helped plot the least steep route, since I have bad knees), providing a map of the hiking trails around Glenorchy for the next day, and telling us a little bit about the...

My daughter and I stayed at this B & B and enjoyed everything about it. First of all, Alex couldn't have been anymore accommodating then he was. He is friendly, a great chef and is there for his guests at anytime of the day or night. We had an issue with one of the tours we booked and Alex called...

Absolutely fabulous experience and great value for money with free parking. Small enough room and on suite but very clean, comfortable and warm with a balcony looking at the mountains, fabulous view. Toiletries of very high quality and all bed linen and towels super white and fresh. Breakfast was included, a vast array of juices, fresh fruit, yogurts and cereals...

We splurged a bit on our last night in New Zealand, and what a great way to end the trip. We showed up in mid-morning, and within 15 minutes they had our room ready for us (which we hadn't expected at all--we thought we would drop off our luggage and wander around...but after hiking the Milford Track and the Routeburn...

We recently stayed at the chalet -where nothing was too much bother. We rented the whole place - 7 ensuite rooms so that all the extended family could stay in one place. Each room was well appointed and had everything we could need when you are holidaying away fom home. Alex was very accommodating while we messed up his kitchen...

Great value for the price. Amazing cafe quality breakfasts every morning that would cost at least $20 eating out. Modern but welcoming and comfortable environment. Hosts were very friendly without being overbearing, the perfect combo. Cooking utensils would of being nice but this is more of a mini hotel! Would definitely stay again.
