to be honest, there was not much difference in staying here and staying in a good hostel except for the price. The breakfast was extremely mediocre and so was the house keeping service. Also it is a little away from the city centre and is located uphill so walking back is also a task.

We stayed one night. The room was expensive, and we discovered the next morning that no breakfast was included. There is a small 'jaccuzzi' but it is very small, though nice. The interior is ok but the room looked old... overall overpriced.

I stayed here as part of my contiki. My room was spacious enough for 3 people (including lots of suitcases). The bathrooms are ok but as mentioned in other reviews they're outdated and old. The hotel is located not far from the center of town and there's a bus service from the middle of town that will take you right...

I understand that we were booking a room for New Years in queenstown, but paying $840 for 2 nights here was horrendous. Firstly the room was tiny, like we could hardly unpack our bags, bathroom is the same. Greated by a throw pillow on our bed that had white stains on it! Tv pretty much unusable due to bad reception...

I stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed my time here. It was comfortable, spacious, the rooms were great. Thank you to the wonderful reception staff who had helped when there was a big bee in the room and had no hesitation in assisting it's removal as well as when my TV remote stopped working! Staff were friendly, full...

Super nice views from the balcony. Hotel it's a bit old. Although they have installed some new things like a.new bad. The beds are way to soft for our liking. Breakfast was not bad and again a great view. Nice are the logfires at the bar and restaurant. WiFi is good and fast enough. Parking is free and easy. Price...

Aspen Hotel is overpriced, noisy & in need of maintenance. We booked for a family of three people & got a small room within the hotel that boasted a balcony. There is no lift, latecomers (3am)were very noisy & our carpark was away from our room. This place is borderline backpacker accomodation with a hefty tariff per night. Free continental...

Dear Sandra M Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I am sorry you did not enjoy your time with us. We do not have a lift but most hotels with only 2 floors would be the same. We are always available to assist with luggage up and down stairs if required. The new owners of the...

I was here for two nights while on a business trip. The room was modern, comfortable and clean. There was a good choice of breakfast foods and the dining room had incredible views across the lake to the mountains. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is located a bit away from the main drag on a hill, a half an hour walk from the city or some 15 dollars if you decide to cab it. We took it as we got a good deal on the room; most Queenstown hotels tend to be over priced and this stood out price-wise and for amenities...

This hotel is quite good but just lacked the little things. You can't whinge about the location being just out of town because you are aware of that when booking it. Its a $15 cab fare one way to town or there is a bus that comes every 30 minutes for $5. The shower was pretty bad. Took ages for...
