Lovely room with mountain view and balcony. Breakfast was good and the terrace had a lovely view of the lake and mountains. Shower wash and shampoo was provided with fresh towels every day. The flowers in the drive were beautiful! Rooms were clean. Staff on reception seemed unengaged and weren't keen to go out of their way to help. The...

We stayed here as part of our self drive holiday. I read on the Internet that this hotel was bought by new owners last June. This hotel is in a great position with beautiful scenic views but is in desperate need of a makeover. The main reception and restaurant areas are very unwelcoming and tired and the restaurant menu very...

The room was adequate, but nothing special. It was clean and accommodating. They had a very good continental breakfast that was included in the price. The location was quite a walk to the city center and not what I'd consider convenient. Their so-called internet service was a joke. They supposedly give you 1 GB of data and we were shut...

Stayed 2 nights in a lake view room in the main building. All in all, I wouldn't stay here again. Good points: 1) Views were absolutely stunning and just like the pictures 2) free parking and free wifi 3) friendly staff at reception Bad points; 1) Overpriced for what you get. For this price I would have expected a better...

We had a room with lakeview which was locaties in the main building. The room was great with a stunning view. Friendly staff both at the Desk and in the bar. Everything was clean and correct. We couldn't find any of the defects described by other reviewers. There were rooms outside the main building which we haven't seen and there...

Had 2 days at Aspen , we parked our motorhome in the car park and had plenty of room, the room and dining room had views that I will remember forever. We dined in and could not fault the meal, the staff went to extra measures for my husbands 50th, with sparkling wine , candles and a birthday cake, nothing...

I stayed at the Aspen for my contiki trip and it was honestly so good. The beds were comfortable and it was pretty close to town. The showers were fine. There's a stunning view of Queenstown as well from the restaurant.

Booked a Lake View room which had a beautiful room, given the cost I assumed there would be a bathtub alas not. Breakfast finishes too early if your'e staying additional nights and want a sleep in. The room was small but very clean. Service was however excellent.

to be honest, there was not much difference in staying here and staying in a good hostel except for the price. The breakfast was extremely mediocre and so was the house keeping service. Also it is a little away from the city centre and is located uphill so walking back is also a task.
