Evergreen Lodge is a perfect place to be in Queenstown. The Lodge is beautiful, the accommodations are perfect and the hosts are incredibly helpful, kind and gracious. Evergreen is situated only a few minutes from 'downtown' and has unbelievable views and privacy. Our stay was top notch and we would *highly* recommend this Lodge to anyone and everyone coming through...

It feels as if you are staying in the home of a good friend. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, the rooms are very gracious and the breakfasts cooked to order with a generous slathering of interesting conversation. The view of the lake and the mountain from your room, the porches,'the library or the exercise room is simply breath-taking. No...

Just what we needed after some long journeys a place to unwind in comfort with fantastic views. The Lodge is situated in a quiet location about a mile and a half out of Queenstown. Greeted by the owners who were so pleasant and informative throughout our stay. The Lodge has a wonderful feel about it and is very well appointed....

From the moment you arrive to the time you leave you are in the hands of perfect hosts in their beautiful boutique lodge set on the hillside above Queenstown with a magnificent view across the lake to the Remarkables and Cecil's Peak. The lodge was certainly the best we stayed in during our recent 4 week holiday in new Zealand....

Unfortunately we were only there 2 nights, but during that time were made to feel completely at home in all senses of the word. Tish & Murray are superb hosts and provide excellent accommodation and ambience. First class made to order breakfasts and lots of nice "extras ". Must try to return for longer stay !

The kitchen was generously and thoughtfully stocked with all sorts of goodies in case you felt tempted day and night and Tish cooked up a huge and delicious breakfast. The views are just breathtaking and you are only a...

My husband and i stayed for a week, and would happily have stayed longer. By the time we left we felt well and truly at home. We were delighted to find local wines and beers freely available, chosen to satisfy our tastes. The house was warm when the weather wasn't and i appreciated that the heater was turned on to...

The final three days of our month-long visit to NZ were spent at the Evergreen Lodge and it couldn't have been more perfect -- relaxing, a stunning view, host and hostess who are helpful but let you have the space you want, and the food and wine were delicious! Highly recommend this peaceful, well-located, beautiful lodge.

This place is gorgeous. The people had been so nice and helpful that you really felt like a very welcome guest and part of the family. The house is devided into two sections: a part for guests and the private section. So the landlady said in the beginning of our stay "You can eat and drink whatever you find" -...
