Loved staying here, clean rooms and facilities, free toast for breaky and close to all the best things queenstown has to offer. Only thing is that it doesn’t have it’s own bar but it’s so close to everything else it doesn’t even matter! Had a...More

The hostel is pretty good overall, but be advised:
If you’re staying in a dorm, the rooms with a balcony are airy and nice... those without a balcony are airtight, no opening windows, and stuffy/hot. Unless, if you’re lucky, the AC actually works!
Ours was a 2 bed room with very basic kitchen facilities (eg no coffee maker). Good value for a simple room that is well located. There was a lot of noise from a bar across the street if the door is left open, which it...More

I think it was about $4 a load to wash, $4 a load to dry... but be mindful you can only choose 1 setting for each. Say like for the dryer you either do a cool dry or a really hot dry for your clothes so if you have a couple of delicates then some regular clothes you have to do them in separate batches. If you put them all together you either end up with clothes still wet, or delicate fabric with possible damage.
