Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Rees. The views are great, staff at breakfast and the bar was always good, and having a concierge to assist in bookings was definitely a plus. A collection of small things kept us from giving 5 stars and would probably lead us to look elsewhere for a future stay in Queenstown. The Lake...

The Rees is a great place with airy spacious apartments. Friendly staff and real luxury. Drawbacks are the 40 minute walk to town, the crazy maze-like layout of the buildings and a brutal architectural style in the mid-Brezhnev manner. The restaurant and bar lack atmosphere and character. Despite these quibbles it's a great place to hang out and enjoy the...

Nice five star hotel with lovely lake views. A nice 40 minutes walk from hotel along the lake front, but the hotel does provide free shuttle buses to & from town. We stayed in a lake view hotel room which was spacious, clean and comfortable.

This place is fine in terms of structure and facilities, but I don't think I would book here again. First, it's a 30 minute walk from downtown, which is fine, unless of course it is raining and cold. Second, the hotel itself is a bit of a maze, making it a long journey up to the reception if you are...

We stayed three nights in this uniquely designed hotel in Queenstown. Reception is on the top floor at ground level, and all seven floors provide rooms with a Great Lake view and overlooking deck. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff is very accomodating. The hotel offers a convenient shuttle bus to downtown Queenstown shopping and dining on...

Wow, what can I say! This is my first trip to Queenstown and I must say staying at The Rees Hotel has really set the scene. It's a little out from the main city, but that doesn't matter when you have complimentary shuttle services. We are staying in a 3 bedroom apartment and all have separate bathrooms and are a...

Not only was our room and view gorgeous but the staff was friendly and helpful to us while on our honeymoon. We had a quick exit due to a schedule change and I mistakenly left my wallet in the safe before traveling to another city. The housekeeping staff returned the wallet untouched and Lou, the Duty Manager, helped get it...

One of the memorable property I have ever stayed as it was way too awesome. We had private stairs to our room and the balcony faces the water. The room size was huge and the view was excellent , one of the most amazing property !! The washrooms was also too big and beautiful with a good size bath-tub. If...

We had an executive lake view room which was very spacious with a full sofa and comfortable chairs. The balcony was large and the bathroom had a shower and jacuzzi bathtub. There was plenty of storage space for all our things. Breakfast was included and included made to order eggs as well as full buffet. The only complaint was the...

My group and I stayed in a 2-bedroom with a view of the lake. Waking to the mountains and water every day was amazing--we didn't really even notice the construction just outside our room. The front desk staff and shuttle drivers were very pleasant as well. They made checking in and getting to and from downtown easy.
