My husband and I from the US stayed here as a treat for our 25th anniversary and it was an excellent choice. The room was gorgeous with an amazing view of the lake and mountains. It had a gas fireplace plus a full kitchen and was very clean. Front desk staff was always accommodating, even when we asked them to... More

Have just spent three nights in a lakefront apartment booked by our travel agent. After having read reviews on trip advisor I expressed concern when given an apartment on a lower floor near the construction zone. The staff were extremely helpful and immediately transferred us several floors up. Everyone was very friendly, apartments immaculate and the restaurant has a chef... More

We went to Queenstown for a family trip. The Rees apartment was very comfortable. We booked two bedroom apartment. It has a nice view of lake and mountains. We could just hang out here the whole day relaxing if we wanted to. Well-equipped such as laundry machine and dryer, oven, toaster, refrigerator, stove, etc. Actually, you could live here. It's... The Rees is a real luxury. The reception staff are quick n very helpful. Bfast was good and travel desk was super efficient. Only issue was they had a small vehicle for drop off service to the city which was always full. Big car parking space . The apartment are very cozy n nice. Bedroom size is pretty small fells... I already stayed here but there are lots of questions about the view that you get from the rooms. People are being told to move to rooms away from the construction site but also being told their view might be compromised. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment - and this was the view from our balcony. you definitely cannot... More

2 bed apartment with only 1 tiny bathroom for 4 adults. I wouldn't call this luxury. Design flaw with open parking lots and open corridors. 2nd bedroom heard bags being pulled along cement pathway - people getting in and out of cars , conversations etc at all times of night and morning. Shower - how many times did we slip... More

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Rees. The views are great, staff at breakfast and the bar was always good, and having a concierge to assist in bookings was definitely a plus. A collection of small things kept us from giving 5 stars and would probably lead us to look elsewhere for a future stay in Queenstown. The Lake... More

The Rees is a great place with airy spacious apartments. Friendly staff and real luxury. Drawbacks are the 40 minute walk to town, the crazy maze-like layout of the buildings and a brutal architectural style in the mid-Brezhnev manner. The restaurant and bar lack atmosphere and character. Despite these quibbles it's a great place to hang out and enjoy the... More

Nice five star hotel with lovely lake views. A nice 40 minutes walk from hotel along the lake front, but the hotel does provide free shuttle buses to & from town. We stayed in a lake view hotel room which was spacious, clean and comfortable.

This place is fine in terms of structure and facilities, but I don't think I would book here again. First, it's a 30 minute walk from downtown, which is fine, unless of course it is raining and cold. Second, the hotel itself is a bit of a maze, making it a long journey up to the reception if you are... More
