Stayed two nights in this ghastly place which really should be called a backpackers den rather then a lodge. Staff attitude manning the reception was awful, a bit up tight, don't know what for. No lift, and, despite being a family had to haul my luggage up three flights of stairs. No warning at breakfast that they are about to...

No lift and no daily housekeeping in Reaver Lodge. The room with a bathroom and a fridge was clean. But later found out the quilt had brown and dark red colour stain. Two nights sleep were awaken but the walking noise from other visitors because the floor was made by wood. The bed was so funny, it would 'sink' for...

I would rate this more of an upscale hostel rather than a lodge. Since we arrived at about 8 pm, the office was closed. We had a rough time finding our room since it wasn't listed on any of the signs on the main floor. It was very clean and efficient. We had a loft room with a low ceiling....

Clean and big bedroom with ensuite. The only bad thing was the Terrible beds and the cracking and squeaking noise coming from the corridor and the floor above all night. Good continental breakkie and friendly staff.

Earlier reviews suggested Reavers was noisy and dirty. I found the rooms clean, the staff helpful and I slept like a log untroubled by noise, so I think they must be under new management or something like that. It is budget accommodation by Queenstown standards (ie. expensive without being super high quality) but I was more than happy with them.

It's a lodge, and perfect for what it is. Staff are awesome, particularly cafe/bar staff! Clean tidy comfortable rooms. We stayed in a dorm room and had everything we needed. Walking distance from town and great views from the cafe/bar.

Upon arriving to the lodge I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff! Very helpful with what to do and where to go in queenstown! The lodge itself seemed like it was well maintained and kept to a high standard. They also have a bar with the most amazing view of the mountains and the food is good...

The accommodation suited to our needs very much. Its clean with only a 10 minute walking distance to town. They have free breakfast each morning with a Continental selection of food too which we loved! Staff were always helpful and clued up on activities and things to do each day.

Friendly reception ,clean room ,clean bedding ,no noise after 10pm.Steep access to lodge and parking a bit tight but not unmanageable. Great to be able to leave the car and walk to town.Nice outside area to sit and read the paper. We would definitely stay here again.
