Stayed here overnight for a conference held at the same venue. Clean, tidy and with a range of room options available. I enjoyed the fact that we could park right outside the room, and then access the hotel through the internal passage- very helpful in the cooler weather! The restaurant, bar and communal seating areas are welcoming and they have...

Ok, let's say it up front - it is an old hotel and rooms are a bit dated, there's no escaping that. Everything else is first rate starting right at the reception desk. Every staff member is such a great host, service is excellent everywhere. The bar and restaurant offer warmth and good fare at excellent value - no matter...

Just the 1 night stay. Our room was warm on our arrival. Bed was OK. Room had everything we needed. Downside was the shower. Water pressure was very low. Restaurant was expensive but they do offer cheaper bar meals. Good gaming room for pokies . The whole complex has everything you need. It is a long distance from the city...

Stayed again here for one night. Check was quick with no hassle. Not the Modern type room but well maintained. Good spacious room with Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Only negative thing was very limited wifi and the curtain on the door leading to parking was not big enough. From outside can easily see inside of room. But otherwise a good...

We did not stay in the main complex but in what I would call the motel block (which is on the same property) and I bit cheaper than other rooms I assume. The outside appearance of the block was not so appealing as it was quite dated however the room was comfortable and well equipped, with modern décor colours. Advertising...

The Ascot has always impressed me and once again the staff have been ever so awseome. Just a one night stay before mum gets the surgeon's knife skills first thing tomorrow. The apartment is just fab. Walked in to a nicely heated room. Fab dinner service and some extra help from staff after forgetting to bring shower stall with us....

This is an older style hotel and function centre complex. Staff were really friendly and made us welcome. Rooms were large and beds comfy and the restaurant had a good selection. Really liked staying here

We didn't have an hotel room but booked the apartment version which was quite good considering the price we payed. Apartment was spacious for just two persons with parking space in front of the room. Gym was nog a big succes although we did enjoy the (small) pool. Dinner was average so would recommend to go out instead. Nevertheless we...

This Hotel has a lovely new restaurant (Emberz) with very nice food: both for dinner and breakfast. It was pleasing to see the manager circulating and talking to guests. We had booked a superior hotel room, but this proved to be one not yet renovated and had a musty smell. We were able to upgrade to a very nice deluxe room...

Stayed 1 night in June and was impressed with the spacious layout of the reception, bar and restaurants. I had a King room which was very spacious and a homely feel with natural wood furniture (Rimu I think?). The TV was very large. A real bonus of this hotel is the rooms have heated water radiator heaters. All round a...
