Rooms are stylish and comfortable. The WiFi reception in room 255 was very good. Our buffet dinner and breakfast were good although a bit crowded with our and other tour groups. The botanical gardens are conveniently right across the street and worth viewing.

Great hotel located right across from the Botanic Gardens and a short walk to Otago University. We arrived early hours of the morning by and nothing was too much trouble for reception staff. We were always greeted cheerfully. I would definitely stay here again.

Dunedin is a lovely city and the Mercure Dunedin Leisure Lodge is located in a garden setting opposite the Botanical Garden which should be visited. The hotel is a little dated, but the service friendlyand the food good in the restaurant. It represents very good value.

Stayed here for a night and we were very pleased with the room. We paid $150 for a quiet, clean, stylish room that looked out onto their beautiful garden. The lady at the desk was also very friendly. Overall we would highly recommend staying here

Ideal place to stay if you. Have transport. If you don't then it might be a bit far out from the centre of Dunedin so you might be looking at the added cost of getting taxis. Nice to have two queen size beds in our room. One was firmer than the other. Meals were very nice and the pork belly...

Many thanks for taking the time to review our hotel and services. We appreciate your feedback. For readers, we are 2-3 minutes by car from the city centre (The Octagon) or 20 to 25 minutes walk on flat terrain (shops start about 10-15 minutes from our front door). Taxis are an option or you may choose public transport one block...

Not a bad place to stay, a little dated but very quaint. Bed was comfortable, only negatives were room wasn't 100% clean; bathroom had hair in it, haven't had to use a shower over bath since I was a kid, certainly didn't expect that in a Mercure. Also had a fair bit of road noise as was right on main...

We were booked for two nights by a travel agent and will defiantly not be coming back. The cramped room had two double beds that had seen better days and left us with sore backs and a bad nights sleep. The walls between rooms were so thin we could hear the person in the next room snoring! The shower was...

The Mercure Dunedin is ok. Don't get me wrong. If you are looking for basic accommodation with zero frills then this may be the place for you. The rooms are small and a little tired or dated but are adequate. The ensuite in my room was really good and looked modern and clean. The mattresses are not great. You can...
