Kym and Scot did a fabulous job looking after us, from cooking breakfasts, to suggesting touring ideas to giving us a lift to and from Portobello for dinner...We highly recommend Camp Estate to anyone wanting to enjoy the views and privacy of the Otago Peninsula in a luxurious place.

We traveled in NZ/AU for three weeks and this was our FAVORITE accommodation. I took pictures of every detail from the woodwork, faucets, mirrors, furniture, Roman shades, lamps, staircase, stairway, inside and out. The entire scheme of black and white knit together exquisitely with variations of pattern, clean lines, mixture of old and new. The house is charm personified in... More

We spent two nights in a wonderful cosy room with a fireplace. The Camp Estate is perfectly situated on top of the hill and you overview the Otage Peninsula from Dunedin till Taiaroa Head and if you walk just a few steps to the top of the hill, you can see the Pacific Coast. Lisa & Michael are great host,... More

Great place to stay, with friendly and knowledgable staff. Our room was charming, with modern amenities. Gas fire was very cosy on a chilly evening. Sitting around the breakfast table, chatting with other guests made our stay more than just a visit to Dunedin. It was nice to meet fellow guests in such a warm, inviting atmosphere.

This B&B is part of Larnach Castle. It has beautiful views of the city of Dunedin and is situated on the Otago penisula. Just know if booking that you are isolated from the city and no stores nearby. The hosts are friendly and helpful. If staying here, you must take the wal just outside the door and up the hill... More

There is no better place to stay in Dunedin, full stop. The drive to the peninsula takes about 15 minutes, but Camp Estate is situated on top of the hill with a view like no other. The fresh air, the salty wind, and the hike up to the heath are the main reasons for staying here. The building itself appears... More

What a special place this is, the camp estate is simply stunning with the grand manor, well kept grounds and stunning views across to Dunedin city. A very luxurious place setup to spoil you. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves midweek for two nights. Yolanda our host was there to greet us and help us on... More

Set high up on a hill overlooking both the Otago Peninsula and Dunedin, Camp Estate is Luxury with a capital L. Just 8 rooms is this grand B&B style accommodation - but what rooms. Huge, luxurious, and mine was overlooking the front of the house and down through the trees and onto Dunedin. Simply superb. But it doesn't stop with... More

A good distance out of Dunedin on the Otago Peninsula so not very convenient for city sightseeing. Ideally situated for nature trips and to see the Royal Albatross colony and the Penguin Place. After we checked in it was suggested that we walk to the top of the property for amazing 360 degree views of the peninsula. Well worth it... More

I see that the Camp Estate does not really need my review but I feel I must! This was our first stop after arriving in NZ and 1 night in Christ Church. I am sorry we did not have more time. The location is a bit out of town which worked fine for us since Dunedin proper is not why... More
