I just had a conference to attend in Christchurch and ended up booking the Ibis and it all went very well. From having an early check in and always having hot chocolate sachets restocked in my room only added to the satisfaction tick list. Really nice, friendly and helpful staff.. Nice to see the Ibis up and running with new...

During our visit, few of the streets are closed down due to the repair / recovery from recent earthquake which affects the accessibility to the hotel. Strategic location is definitely the biggest selling point. Lots of places of interest within walking distance. Pricing wise, I think it's pretty reasonable for a room which can fit 4 persons comfortably. Personally, I...

Had dinner here last night. My colleague ordered pan fried blue cod and she got a deep fried fish and chips. Being an older woman, she didn't feel like comfortable complaining. I ordered Kumera Gnocchi which was ok but you couldn't taste the Kumera at all. The waitress never asked us if our meals were ok and the setting of...

My wife and I stayed at the Ibis Christchurch recently before flying home to Brisbane. Unfortunately I left my mobile phone in the room. The staff did an excellent job in arranging an international courier and returning my phone to me. Thanks Dhaval for a great job!

Good location, smallish rooms but more than comfortable. A little fridge was useful for snacks! Clean and comfortable room - good location for seeing Christchurch. Parking is a little steep but there is plenty of cheaper parking options near by.

I stayed in this hotel for a night while on business. The greeting was functional. The location was good as it was within easy walking distance of the major sights in the city. Roadworks in town made it a little difficult to get to but that is only a temporary thing. The room was small. The soundproofing was not great...

The Ibis is a hotel chain where you can pretty much expect what the facilities are like as well as the standard of accommodation. What makes Ibis Christchurch really special is the warmth of service from the staff. Their attentive hospitality was very much appreciated when we had a late night check-in, and we had various transfers and activities to...

The rooms were clean and well designed. However, there are few views to be had, and the room we had faced a drab Grey building. The beds were comfortable while the bathroom was functional. How every, the hotel charges $26 dollars a night for parking. This was affordable when you compare it to Wilsons parking, which would charge you a...

We booked two extra nights before our tour with AAT KINGS as we wanted to visit the Trans Alpine train but that trip was cancelled due to bush fires so we used the hotel as a base to explore Christchurch as it is in the centre and reminders of the terrible Earthquake surround the hotel. The room was adequate, the...
