We stayed there on our last night in NZ. The manager was there to welcome us and he was friendly and helpful. We had a room along the driveway which was great for us because of the luggage. The room was clean and okay from the size. We had a good last night and sadly left NZ.

Stayed for 2 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment (across the road from building pictured above). Apartment was a 3 level apartment and spacious with all the modern amenities such as dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, kitchen. The furniture looked modern and rooms were clean. The room on the ground floor was the most spacious with an outdoor area. The second...

This place is fantastic! Absolute charm all around, from the greeting by the staff and throughout our stay. Our room was clean, clean, clean! We were next to a busy road and I imagine it could be noisy during the week but if you are out exploring, you will be tired enough to sleep through it. It is close to...

We stayed here on our first night on arriving in New Zealand. The welcome was friendly and the room was comfortable. The spa bath was a welcome feature. The centre of Christchurch is walkable , taking the route through the beautiful botanic gardens. Restaurants in Medivale are close by and good. Thoroughly recommended

A fantastic spot in Christchurch. Beautiful rooms, with an adjacent balcony to sit and relax. Breakfast provided in the rooms to help yourself. Very friendly service and a drop of local sparkling for our special visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Merivale Manor. The building was built in the 1860s as the home of a business man and many of the features of the period are still evident. The interior has been completed to a very high standard in keeping with the period of the property. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was...

A double stay, on the way to the glaciers and a final night before the flight home. The original Manor in the name gives the whole place a delightful feel, the rooms are very comfortable and the little extra of a couple of slices of bread for our breakfast was very much appreciated.

Thank Judith B
