Elegance of a by-gone era We stayed in this boutique hotel just about exactly 20 years ago, and both its name and the picture of their exquisitely carved Kauri wood staircase has never left our memory, thus when it came to selecting a 2 night abode in Christchurch during our “homecoming trip”, the immediate question was: is Eliza’s still around,...

My husband and I stayed as a wedding anniversary treat. What a special place, extremely comfortable and lots of lovely treats that made our stay enormously enjoyable. Thank you for you fabulous breakfast and kindness. Watching the world cup rugby quarter final while having breakfast was an added bonus:)

We stayed at Elizas manor Boutique hotel for two days. It was a great stay. The house is really a manor and we got a huge room, highlofted and furnished in a real manorway. We loved it! The host Ann, was extremely helpful and generous. We enjoyed her great manor, sat in her garden drinking wine and relaxed after a...

Our first accommodation after arriving in New Zealand...we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, and the bathtub a welcome relief after 35+ hours of travel. Wonderful breakfast the next morning. Hospitality provided by Ann and Harold was great, with helpful hints about visiting Christchurch.

This beautiful little hotel was a perfect choice for our last nights in New Zealand. Our room was large, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The location was convenient to a strip with a concentration of good restaurants (which are scarce in post-earthquake Christchurch). Last but not least, our hosts were charming and very helpful. A great little...

I was on a business/vacation trip in Christchurch and was so happy to find a home at Eliza's. My room on the first floor was very clean, well-appointed and had a great ensuite modern bath. Cookies, chocolate and a garden view made it even nicer! Great breakfast included and knowledgeable owners. Thought i think wifi might have worked at one...

We stayed here at Eliza's Manir for 3 nights last week. The hosts, Ann and Harold, are brilliant and lovely. The location is perfect, the Anzac biscuits in the room are a great little extra as are the chocolate teddy bears! We absolutely loved our days there.
