We stayed here, in the motel part at the start and end of our NZ holiday and couldn't have hoped for better. The staff, David in particular, were friendly and very helpful. We were so jet-lagged upon arrival that David booked us breakfast even though we hadn't asked him and we were so grateful the next morning. The rooms were...

Thanks to Des, Eva and Linda for another lovely stay at The Grange. I really enjoyed it again and, as usual, found it to be better than "a home away from home". I can't think of anything that would have improved my stay and I would like to thank all staff for all they did to make it enjoyable including...

The Grange comes in two parts: the old original building is best discribed as a B&B and the remainder is a motel. We stayed in the original house which is kept, in the main, to its original 1860 style. Our room was spacious, clean and tidy and equipped with all you need for your stay. Our room was on the...

I was attending a couple of meetings at the Returned Services Association at 74 Armagh Street, Christchurch, so The Grange Guesthouse & Motel was ideally situated. With the Grange providing us with bed & breakfast, it solved the problem of us having to find other venues for breakfast. All the staff were extremely helpful and provided us will all the...

Everything in central Christchurch is within walking distance, so you can leave your car parked in their lot for your entire visit. The rooms are smallish and quaint. Very pretty. Staff were very helpful and charming. Breakfast was excellent. No views. It's very much a lovely B&B right in the city center.

We wanted to find an accommodation in Christchurch that was within reasonable walking distance to shopping, restaurants and sites. This motel was well located to suit our travel needs. The rooms were clean and we enjoyed the outdoor sitting area every afternoon with our wine and appetizers. The staff was great, friendly and responsive. We would recommend this property.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, with good suggestions of where to eat out. The room was lovely and comfortable and the motel in easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see...

We stayed in Christchurch for the last 2 days of our visit to NZ. We found this accommodation to be delightful. The main house where a wonderful breakfast was included, was beautifully restored and very attractive. It was walking distance to the main shops and cafes, museum & art gallery. We stayed in the very comfortable rooms at the back...

We stayed for 3 nights and we're very impressed. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was very comfortable. Really couldn't fault it. The location was perfect with the city centre within easy walking distance. The botanical gardens, museum, shuttle to Akaroa and bus to the airport were all within an easy 10 minute walk. There is...
