Great cocktails with really welcoming and friendly staff. Service was prompt and staff were very attentive without being overbearing. The hotel building and interior have been beautifully restored and is worth wandering down to look at the staircase.More

Christchurch is okay but not a place to spend more than a few days. I agree with Darth check out Queenstown or Wanaka or even vineyard region on north island
