I've stayed in the Haka Lodge Christchurch for over two weeks and it is the best hostel I had in New Zealand! Everyone was so friendly and helpfully to me. It's a pretty small hostel, so it was quiet familiar after a few days and everyone got in touch with each other. I really enjoyed my stay, thank you very...

I stayed here before my haka tour. Although i really enjoyed my tour, i really didnt enjoy staying at the Haka Lodge in Christchurch. Everyone was friendly enough, but the rooms are tiny (we had a private room). We barely had enough room to open our two suitcases. There was also ALWAYS a decent wait for the bathrooms. There are...

Hi Skipper, I thank you for your feedback. It is our only way we can improve the experience we offer our guests. I have not been made aware of the fact that there is a problem with wait times for the bathrooms before. I am hoping it was just an isolated case with a tour group staying who had particularly...

Needed a place for stop over before traveling onwards, haka lodge again it was. Clean bathroom and kitchen , cozy room (we had a twin), due to some ongoing promotion I got a discount on my booking. free wifi included (and it works!!), nice and laid back staff. Couldn't have asked for more. Off street parking available, plenty of space....

Haka Lodge Christchurch must be the best value accommodation in town. I had two one-night stays here and received excellent service and a very warm welcome both times. Rachel, the lodge manager, was super helpful and was able to accommodate awkward arrival and departure times, arrange transfers and provide all the information I needed for my stay in Christchurch ......

After an enjoyable 10 days travelling around the South Island, we (a group of 4 friends) spent our last night in the apartment and needed some space to spread out and relax before an early morning flight home The en-suite Apartment was fabulous in all respects: spotlessly clean, spacious warm and very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen, good internet...

Pretty at night. Close to a bathroom and the lounge/kitchen, but private. The Lodge is close to the town, but...
