Like drowned cats we sat at your doorstep, it was the first very wet day after weeks without rain, end of February 2017. We felt more than welcome as was the tea and Amanda's home made scones. Even the beautiful house built in 1905 and the fluffy grey longhaired cat seemed to like us and Oscar, the puppy, preferred our...

A beautifully restored old house with a welcoming ambience thanks largely to the owners, Amanda and Dave, who can't do enough for you and are happy to help organise your day. The rooms are large and comfortable with a touch of luxury. Breakfast is a delight with the aroma of freshly baked croissants greeting you every morning. They even make...

Great weekend in Christchurch made better by great hosts - Dave & Amanda and their hospitality. Oscar the new Bijoun/Shitsu cross of 8weeks is a real cutie. Rooms of traditional classic villa style, great ambience and shared breakfast - much enjoyed meeting international patrons as well. Page 1/1000. One of the best b&b's we have stayed in for the last couple of years. His lordship Dave and his lovely wife Amanda really give you a warm welcome. They serve the best breakfast you can wish for, homemade yoghurt and croissants. If you ever find yourself in Christchurch in need for a place to stay, book at...

Our hosts Amanda and Dave could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The Belmont is a little piece of Christchurch history, very comfortable and homely. We were given excellent advice for visiting Christchurch which really optimised our few days there. Lovely breakfast.

My husband and I stayed here while waiting for a camper van. It was so nice that we thought about cancelling the camper van and staying here all week. The owners were gracious and welcoming. They even came over to check on us after a small earthquake rocked the house at 3 AM! The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet....

We were welcomed by Amanda with a warm hug as if we knew each other for a long time. She showed us the very old house (1905). It's nicely renovated and decorated. A spacious living room with TV and the kitchen can be used at any time of the day. We had the bedroom with view to the entrance and...
