Stonehaven Homestay is a little bit of luxury hidden away in the middle of one of Blenheim's many superb vineyards. Paulette and John are the perfect hosts, making you feel at home from the minute you draw up in front of the house. We hired bikes from Stonehaven and visited several of the local vineyards armed with a map and... More

Warm welcome, great breakfasts, friendly and knowledgeable hosts, lovely room, and great location - what more could one ask for of a homestay? We enjoyed our stay at Stonehaven very much. Paulette and John were very gracious hosts and were very helpful in planning our activities not only in the Marlborough region but for the rest of our New Zealand... More

We wish we could stay longer with Paulette and John, one night was too short. The house is perfectly situated in order to visit the vineyard area, and you will lost no time since John can provide you with bikes for a ride. The breakfast is a pure moment of fullness it is delicious and prepared by Paulette with products... More

These guys can't really be faulted on anything. They gave us a very warm welcome and continued to be as helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The house is wonderful with good rooms and a great location. Paulette's breakfasts were a highlight of the day and their passion for the area and their homestay shines through in everything they do.

John & Paulette are true professionals, and helped make our visit to this world class wine region even more rewarding. The house and its hosts are a splendid example of how a B & B should be run. The lovely rooms, amazing breakfasts by the pool and even provision of cycles to explore the numerous famous cellar doors (driving not... More

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel totally at home, the hospitality was second to none. Tea and delicious home made biscuits on arrival, Paulette immediately offered to book a table at the resturant of our choice for that evening. We were to dine with them on our second night. Our room was beautiful with a sumptuous... More

We were welcomed like long lost friends by Paulette and John. Offered a tea or coffee immediately upon arrival and told to treat Stonehaven as our own house. The room was pristine with every possible luxury inclusion and the bed, well I'm taking it home with me. The grounds were immaculate. Was introduced to John's cellar early and we chose... More

John and Paulette, the hosts, are fabulous. John is a history buff and full of anthropology and Maori culture info. Paulette is a great cook and the food was to die for. And plentiful. Our room was immaculate with luxurious bedlinens, towels, and wonderful attention to all details right down to the decorated toilet tissue that matched everything else. The... More

Stonehaven is by far one of the best places to stay in the Marlborough region. Literally located in the heart of the wineries, our hosts, Paulette and John were extremely helpful and very knowledgable of this area. We were made to feel as though we were staying in our own homes. Beautiful setting, pristine rooms and immaculate gardens and a... More
