My husband and I stayed in one of the cabins on Tonks Street. We came in at night and had a little trouble finidng the street. This cabin is off Cuba Street (the "coolest street" in New Zealand). We were able to easily access the cabin and found it clean and just right for our needs. The owners were very... More

Jeff and Dean have a number of properties in Wellington. We stayed on the ground floor of their house. It was very comfortable with an en-suite shower room and a separate loo in the hall. Great place. Great guys. Very quiet, yet walking distance from Wellington centre. Thoroughly recommend this - couldn't be better. From the glass (or was it bottles) of wine through to a quiet evening working at the laptop in the sitting room - all to myself - just what I needed. Cat has attitude.

We chose this place to stay for three reasons. One was because it has some great reviews aready on Tripadvisor, two because they can provide you with parking (a bit of a nightmare otherwise in Wellington) and three because they have a beautiful ginger tom cat. We drove to this place and found it no problem. Jeff and Dean had... More
