We stayed for two nights in the Garden suite, so relaxing and tastefully done, with everything you would need. Zarli was very helpful, provided a lovely breakfast the night before, giving us flexibility. Laundry facilities were excellent, a huge help. Fruit and chocolate on arrival and quality toiletries made it feel special. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

We stayed in the Garden Suite and were welcomed by host Zarli. The Garden Suite is so well equipped, we wished that we were staying 7 nights instead of 2! Breakfast is delivered to your room during the previous evening and is lovely. Continental breakfast with a sumptuous fruit salad and is beautifully presented. We enjoyed sitting out in our...

Central location within easy reach of waterfront but up a steep hill in case you are not mobile, which we are. Restaurants and cafés on the hill. Comfortable and roomy. Hospitable and helpful hosts. Generous continental breakfast. Loved the location and character of the house. Recommended.

We spent 3 nights in the Garden suite here when we first arrived in NZ and loved it so much that we decided to return for our final nights. The rooms are very large with separate living room, kitchenette & bedroom. It has a private grassy patio and garden where (if the weather is good) you can have breakfast. Our...

We stayed in the garden suite and it was brilliant. Your host is really friendly with plenty of advice but not at all intrusive. The room itself is self contained with French doors in to a small garden. The room itself is clean and attractive with a lovely sitting area which gets the afternoon sun. The breakfasts work really well,...

We stayed for 2 nights in the Garden Suite earlier this month and wished we could have stayed longer. Of the 10 different properties we stayed in during our 3 week touring holiday in New Zealand, all of which were very good, Austin Villa was the best. The combination of a self contained , spacious, well-furnished and spotlessly clean apartment...

This is a great BB due to the following attributes: - Tastefully decorated and fresh linens and comfortable bed with lovely sheets. - 21st Century technology! In Wellington the hotels always charge for internet, here you had unlimited access to WIFI...

This is a great location close to the city centre, (though a bit of a walk back up the hill). The apartment was clean, comfortable, and very nicely designed. Our host Zarli, was very helpful with information and advice, and helped us carry our suitcase up the steps from the street, and arranged a taxi back to the airport. Breakfast provided...

Stayed in the garden suite. Beautiful apartment with its own secluded garden. Very quite and peaceful and great to return to after walking around wellington. Excellent location. Quite, yet easy walking to restaurants, the harbour and the town centre. The old Victorian buildings in the streets surrounding the apartment are very interesting in their own right. Unique to have such a location,...
