I stay in Wellington every couple of weeks and have tried most of the 'business stay' hotels. This one is definitely the best, for both luxury and value for money. The beds are very luxurious and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The restaurant is very high in demand (we couldn't get in) - so booking in advance is essential. The...

Very good overall experience. Team were helpful. Breakfast was great. Pool was good. Room was comfortable and spacious. Central location and very close to the harbour. Loved our window onto the harbour.

Great room, harbour view, although it was wet and rough outside. Close to so many things. Staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast had nice little additions, like the flavoured milk and juice in cute bottles with straws. Room service was excellent and the food from Portlander was very good.

Completely useless, lost an item of value at the rydges and instead of looking into it or following it up, they've given me the details of their suppliers instead. Not exactly customer service and the concierge should be managing the staff that work on their premises directly.

Hi Lyngurium, Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry we have been unable to find your item of value. I do apologise for the service you received when you first rung the Hotel, but I can assure you our staff have done their best to find it. The Front Office team has tried to call to follow up,...

Excellent central city location, close to shops, restaurants etc. Not sure about parking, I was dropped off by taxi and didn't appear to be anywhere to pull in off the street. Check-in was fast, friendly and efficient. Room (1415) was spacious, big bed, good linen, pillows etc. had good size desk to work at, 32' TV. Good size bathroom. Only...

Nice well appointed rooms with very comfortable beds and a wonderful harbour view from the floor we stayed on. We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay and although busy, service was very attentive and professional.Breakfast, particuarly the pancake machine, was an amazing hit with the children in our party.

We arrived at the Hotel to be told there was no parking left - not a great start we had ordered extras that were to be in our room on arrival - weren't there - we had to ring to have them delivered. To be fair to the staff were all very pleasant, but they were tapped out as the...

My husband and I came away for a birthday trip to celebrate my 30th. Due to health reasons it's a rather big deal, so we chose Rydges because it looked lovely and was in a good spot in the city. We chose well! From the start they made it such a special experience, from a room upgrade to a beautiful...
