Centrally located in the city centre. Easy access to buses to and from the airport. Walking distance to Te Papa, i-Site (for day trips) and surrounded by the city shops and restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable.

We were very disappointed in our stay. We purchased a room off trivago. Our room was extremely hot yet we couldn’t open the windows to get an airflow as the air-conditioning units were right outside our window and they were very noisy and we couldn’t sleep with the noise. The beds were extremely uncomfortable too – so none of us... More

A great place for a weekend away! Check-in staff were friendly and personable - they made us feel very welcomed. We arrived early and they offered to store our luggage until check-in opens at 2pm which was handy. Rooms had minor maintenance issues - a blown light bulb and a hole in the bottom of the bathroom door that meant... More

Not overly wrapped with this hotel. Small room, leaking shower no kettle in the room though they give you coffee and tea. Windows that don't close properly and bang all night. Staff were friendly. Wi-fi kept cutting out and you constantly had to re-log in. Wouldn't stay here again if given the opportunity to return to Wellington

Dear Trina C, I am pleased you found our staff friendly. The Wi-Fi can be challenging if we have mass Netflix users! I am sorry about this. The windows we will look at as part of our ongoing maintenance programme for the Hotel. Thank you again for sending your feed back. Regards Andrew B More

This hotel is a 'cheap and cheerful'. The location is handy; a 5 minute walk to Cuba St/Courtney Place in one direction and 5 mins to Lambton Quay. The room was small and a little tired but clean and tidy with a comfortable bed and a good shower. (I like a shower you can hand-hold rather than the typical fixed... More

Really enjoyed our stay, perfect for a base in central Wellington. Loved the outdoor bar area on the roof so much fun! Room was small but well equipped and reasonably priced, we had a room with a view of the church.

Handy location for a visit to the CBD and associated tourist locations; within easy walking distance to Te Papa, Wellington Cable Car and Botanic Gardens, lots of shopping and waterfront attractions - our room on the 6th floor was compact - adequate for our short visit with good en-suite shower room - it was reasonably priced for 2 nights.

The good news is that we left 4 days before the Nov 2016 earthquake shut down most of the CBD for 2 days. Our room was right on Willis Street, above a bar with rather noisy patrons and, most annoyingly, a steel manhole cover that clattered every time a vehicle went over it. The room was basic, but adequate. The... More

Dear Peter L, I am disappointed to hear your stay at our Hotel was not to your expectation. Noise in any CBD Hotel can often be challenging so I am sorry this effected your stay with us. The steel manhole cover is a Wellington City Council issue, not the Hotels unfortunately. Saying this, I will pass your comemnts onto the... More

Trinity Hotel is a casual and cheerful hotel located just 2 blocks up the hill from Courtney Place. The staff is one of the friendliest I've found in Welly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Just recently, Trinity opened a rooftop bar that is funky and fun. The breakfast room downstairs is good for a quick bite.

We had gone on official Business trip to Wellington and booked this hotel after doing online search about distance from workplace and price. This hotel is in close proximity to Wellington CBD and rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Weekday tariff for room rent are lower than weekend tariff.
