"Happy Guest. Happy Hotel" seems to be their motto and we found each of the staff we dealt with to be great. If we needed to be over Te Aro way again we'd definitely stay again. Our room was big enough with large super king bed and plenty of room for the port-a-cot. Our bathroom was a bit tricky to...

Not a super cheap price for... dirty rooms, curtains mouldy, view of the air conditioning unit, bath rusty, wallpaper bubbled ... not really a room you wanted to spend any time in... for the price it wasn't worth it. Mini bar consisted of 2 bottles of water and room only made up daily on request. An old, tired and rundown...

The Willis Wellington Hotel was just what I needed for one night. Having read reviews I was a bit concerned. There was both pros and cons to this hotel. Pros: The location is great, in Te Aro and very close to Cuba Street. My reception member I encountered was very helpful and recommened a number of places for me to...

Location: The hotel is a short walk to the popular spots of Cuba Mall and Courtenay Place. Although on a main central city road, I didn't encounter any issues with noise. Overall room feel: The room was an ok size but showing signs of wear and tear. Wall paper coming off wall, scratches, marks and small stains here and there....

I stayed for three nights in a single room including breakfast. I was advised at checkin (without asking) that unfortunately they were full, otherwise I would have been upgraded. I was on the fourth floor, easily accessible by stairs or lift. The room was extremely clean, and well laid out to make the most of the compact size. The window...

Fogged in at Wellington airport with countless other travelers, many of whom chose to sleep on the airport floor rather than pay extortion rates for a hotel. Desperate for a bed for the night, I paid almost $300 for a room with no heat, terrible plumbing in dirty rundown conditions. This is taking terrible advantage of people in a crisis....

I found this hotel very close to the centre of town which meant short walks to get something for dinner or to get to uni courses etc. The room I was in was a generous size I felt, and I found it to be perfectly clean. Staff were consistently friendly and I had a new looking TV in my room...

Outside this hotel looks like an old youth hostel with flaking paint, dirty walls and rotten window frames. The reception is better but once you get out of the lift and head toward your room, you get the sense all is not as well as you had hoped for considering the high room price. The room we had was very...

I stayed here for one night during a business trip to Wellington out of necessity as all fights out of the capital were cancelled due to fog. My organisation was billed $300 for one night for a room that I wouldn't be happy paying $50 for - not happy! While the staff were friendly enough, and the lobby looks nice...

No A/C, horrible soviet style concrete roof and walls, broken seat and lights not working or dim. Windows that have a layer of Perspex over them so you cant open them (horrible when combined with no Air Conditioning) - also said would be free wi-fi but this didn't reach the room we were in. Avoid.
