I loved this hotel, the room, the location, the service were all fantastic. I even had a washer/ dryer in my room and after 2 weeks of holiday I enjoyed their restaurant as well. I was so sorry to leave.

There were 6 of us so we had a two bedroom suite and a double bed room. There was a full kitchen, which we didn't use. Very nicely appointed rooms. Generous bathrooms and a large living area between the two bedrooms. Breakfast was available, continental or full breakfast. Everyone was helpful and friendly.

Talking to locals the Bolton Hotel was viewed as a quality destination and it failed to disappoint. Staff were both courteous and informative, suggesting places to eat around the Old Docks which was about a 10 minute walk away. Recommended

I really like the Bolton. A bit bigger than boutique, but still small and personal. My room was small, but had everything I needed. Walking distance to the business end of Wellington central. Staff friendly, service good, happy customer!

Decent room and a convenient central location, but would not classify this hotel as luxury. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, but that was about it. Room service options were limited and expensive so did not use. Overall thin construction, and most importantly very weak air handling in the room. It was only 24C outside and the AC unit could...

Wonderful place to stop right in the heart of Wellington. We walked from the train station and easy to find. Rooms are modern and spacious, iPad to lookup about the hotel, access room serve and great views. The "beehive" or parliament building around the corner. We walked to the historic cable car and down to the happening Cuba st. The...

Had a suite on 16th floor which was exceptional with lovely sitting room with kitchen and even a washing machine. Big bedroom with comfy bed and big bathroom with bath and shower. Good breakfast and good service. Can't ask for much more from a city centre hotel. The hotel is independently owned apparently and that is a bonus too in...

Great location near Parliament House in central Wellington. Check-in was a bit slow and front desk took forever to answer the phone. Room was a reasonable size with clean linen but a slightly dated fit out which always reminds you the building is a former office block. Wifi code was very fiddly to find. No water in room. Breakfast good...

The Bolton Hotel is on a quiet street near to the lower end of the gardens. We had a beautiful room with large picture windows looking out on the hills. The location was great and the suite had many nice amenities. Check in was smooth and professional.

We recently stayed here for two nights. We wanted somewhere close to the railway station as we were getting the train to Trentham for the races. It was a 10 minute walk to the train station, the water front, and 5 mins from the end of a main shopping street in town. The Beehive was at the end of the...
