The location of the hotel is in a quiet street in central Wellington close to the shops, restaurants and railway station. The staff are friendly and the rooms are very comfortable. I stayed for 3 nights and will definitely return.

Only needed a hotel for one night to spend time with my 19 year old - this was the perfect spot, quite side st from lampton quay - close to everything. Room was great - huge bathroom. Staff were kind and always had a smile on their faces - the guy with all the towels and bedding staff to the front receptionists - very helpful and never felt I was a bother - thanks so much.

Wellesley hotel has all the charm of a yesteryear boutique hotel. Easy checkin & parking. We booked a deluxe room and couldnt have been happier. Super spacious & stylish to the origins of the hotel, comfy bed, nice little lounge alcove to relax on a couch & watch tv & the bathroom was spectacularly huge with double shower, double basin & bathtub. The big chain hotels dont offer this old style comfort & class so I can highly recommend it is great value for money.

We stayed in the Jefferies suite which was just great. The bed was comfortable and we had a massive double shower with two individual basins which was a nice touch. The night manager Tamie was always very helpful with any requests and the German receptionist (forgotten her name unfortunately). The hotel was only a short distance 10-15 mins from the main popular streets. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
