As the title, the wifi signal no good, and eventually even not showing up on the wifi list couldnt log in. The room just okay. But the tv is old style like a box not flat screen and it's small. The shower room is old too. Anyway, just okay. Wish the wifi works better.

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, a little disappointed really. The room was grubby thick dust on most things and ants crawling all over the place. Advertised guest parking, however only parking is in the pub car park and first come first serve. Staff are very friendly though.

For the price ($70 for a single room), very good, relaxed hotel. Free parking behind and WiFi. The WiFi is sometimes hit and miss in the rooms, but generally pretty good. The price includes a breakfast but slightly disappointed that this consisted of a bowl of museli and tinned peaches. Rooms are clean and comfy. Kettle, tea bags etc. Shared...

We stayed in this hotel in Mid January and we enjoyed our three night stay. We were in room 4 which overlooked the street, which at times was very busy but it did calm down at night so a good nights sleep was possible. There wasn't any noise from the customers down in the bar or once the hotel closed...

I've just watched a criticism of Trip Advisor. Shame on people who take money to give a good review! Here's my genuine review of The Shepherd's Arms : The welcome was friendly and all the staff we encountered were just the best! The room quaint but clean and tidy. The bed a kingsize comfortable one. The shower was adequate. Although...

It's a nice place, clean and well decorated. I had issues with WiFi which was pretty poor. A set of lights in one corridor was down.no TV in single rooms. Place was fairly close to the centre and even closer to botanical gardens. Reasonable rate. I would stay there again,.

Only place we could book for a meal, close to the Stadium to see the Tattoo and definitely well worth it. The meals were huge particularly the fish and chips (3 fillets) but they will do half size (2 fillets) if you ask for $19. I had the Pork belly which i must say was one of the best i...

I had one night here on my own for the Edinburgh Military tattoo. Accommodation in Wellington was almost booked out and city hotels had doubled their prices during the event. This location was only a 15min walk from the westpac stadium so very handy. I had booked a single room with shared bathroom but on arrival I was very pleased...

Last minute booking.. had read previous TA posts so had an indication of what to expect. Great value for money.. Sure it's an old pub that the owners could sink a small fortune into.. But it delivers a comfortable, non-fussy experience.. Towels and bedlinen were just about new.. All was clean, shower was hot.. Muesli breakfast was a bonus..
