The Harbour City Motor Inn in Wellington is quite well situated for easy access to the shopping areas and nightlife of the city. The hotel also benefits from having on-site parking available to guests (a plus in Wellington) and also provides free wifi in the rooms. Sadly, however, this hotel looks and feels somewhat shabby and tired. The rubber seals...

the only positive thing i can say about this hotel is close to CBD, overall experience was worst. Did not bother to had a shower because the shower looked filthy. The management seem of no good standard when it comes to general appearance and quality of a good hotel. Looked like a backpacker. Information about the hotel was deceiving. Not...

Booked a one night stay in a "kitchenette studio". Used airpoints rewards to the equivelant of $136 for the worst room ive ever laid my eyes on. Very dated and tired. Whole place smelled like a deep fat fryer, reminded me of a Chinese takeaway. Immediately left and booked a room and the Grand Mercure down the road for $25...

Well priced, and good location with free parking which is handy. But is a bit dated and the windows don't seal up. But you get what you pay for. Was good for a short stay and easy to walk everywhere from here. Kitchenette is very basic. Wifi is very limited

This place is a shame to a beautiful country like New Zealand and its lovely people. Everywhere inch of this dump - room, linen, cushions, bathroom, lobby, lift, etc can be described in three words. DIRTY, SMELLY & FILTHY. Can’t understand why authorities in NZ allow this disgusting place to operate. Would NEVER EVEN SIGHT this s...hole again.

The hotel is very well situated and has good parking. It is however a little 'tired' but our room was clean and comfortable. The main problem was that our room had an adjoining door to the next room and there was no soundproofing at all! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We went to a different motel only to find out that they didnt have any free rooms. The man in charge seriously recommended this hotel. So we accepted as we felt quite secure of this man recommending the hotel. As soon as you arrive you know something isnt right. Chinese owners obviously trying to keep maintaince costs down. My opinion...

That is a great space in the city. Just right behind CBD, save your parking and walk. Go anywhere is all close. The staff is nice and friendly. Room price is really valuable. I will suggest to my friends if they go.
