This place is a great place to stay, this is my 3rd time coming back here & the staff are always so helpful & friendly. The rooms are clean & tidy. There's plenty of food places within a couple of mins walk & the kitchen facilities in the building are HUGE. Will definitely return again :)

Nice hostel in good location opposite the harbour frontage although a 15-20 min walk from the railway station. Very well equipped kitchens and nice areas to hang out in. I stayed in 4 bed female dorm with en-suite and had a great walk in shower area which was really spacious. Kept clean and tidy and helpful staff. A little pricier...

It's a very big hostel but still one of the best places I've stayed in New Zealand. 4 bed dorm is big and has its own bathroom, but there are additional ones in the hallway. There's free wifi and free lockers in the dorms. I was staying quite on a highfloor and had also great view. Just the bunk beds...

The YHA is very nicely located just a stone throw from Te Papa Museum (which is a must see in Wellington). Staff was friendly and facilities were YHA standard. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the room, as we required a family room which was not available (even though we had asked for it in the booking) we ended up in...

Probably the nicest YHA I've stayed at so far. Has a nice big kitchen, spacious rooms (at least for 6 shared), Comfy bunks, great employees. Not the best bathrooms I've seen but by far not the worst! Great location next to the harbour and right across from a grocery store

We had 4 night here at the beginning of our family holiday to explore middle earth and the location was perfect. We visited te papa, went to the beach, weta studios and on the cable car. Two private rooms as families of 5 don't fit and the facilities were great but the mattresses were terrible and the doors don't close,...

We spent 3 nights in a deluxe room early December, fantastic! Comfy bed (the best in our trip!), large and clean room, well equiped but very small kitchens (they have 2), no computer for Internet and great service! So popular that it attracts school groups and it can be very noisy at night (until 22h) and crowded at meal time.

This hostel is situated perfectly in the centre of Wellington with a New world supermarket next door. It is about a 20min walk to Cuba street and about 15 mins to the beach. Whe we arrived the hostel was very busy and you could tell this was a popular place to stay. We had a room on the 5th floor...

I spent two nights here. First it is a pretty long walk from the railway station (about 30 mins walk). The hostel is in a good location, its right opposite the supermarket and it is a short walk to the city and Mount Victoria. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the facilities are amazing....

This is a very big, very well positioned hostel in Wellington City and the perfect starting point for your day as you'll invariably begin by passing the big New World Supermarket (open 7am – midnight) and onto the boardwalk/recreational spaces that take you along the shoreline towards the vibrant Civic Centre and onto your day's adventures. The salient features of...
