I stayed at this hotel as it was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Wellington. I had researched other hotels that I liked but decided to take the leap. After an overnight flight into Wellington via Christchurch from Australia and a few hours to kill for the 2pm check in - the drive to the hotel was...

We spent the night here and basically its car park with some basic facilities. The kitchen is very small and it would be difficult if not impossible for more than a couple of people to cook in there at the same time. Again the toilets and showers are the bare minimum, we didn't enjoy our stay here.

A car park turned into a camper van site. 29 spaces crammed in. The ladies facilities comprises one toilet, one shower, and one disabled toilet/shower. Ditto the men's. Not too sure when they were last cleaned, and I would suggest not recently. Much could and indeed would be forgiven if a smile greeted you on arrival. Unfortunately "client service" doesn't...

We stayed here a single night to catch the Wellington - Picton Ferry. Really easy to find and to get to from the motorway, lots of parking and really easy to get to the ferry the next morning. Room was good with a comfortable bed and good bathroom.

This is not a caravan park but a parking for caravans. They have turned their parking area into the caravan park. There is no outdoor space, facilities are extremely limited (two toilets and 4 showers for 28 spaces), it is under the flight path, and the worse thing is how unfriendly the receptionist of the day was.l would never come...

After traveling for almost 5 hours we wanted something nice and comfortable. Firstly we had to drag all our luggage upstairs to our room, which was a pain. The kitchenette was small, and only a microwave available, which meant eating out. Beds were Ok, pillows were too soft. Wifi was available to buy, and you had to sit in foyer...

This hotel is far from the city center. About a 10-15mins drive away. As you know, Wellington's traffic can get heavy during peak hours. We were given rooms on the second level of the motel as our family of 4 needed a bigger room. Our room had a loft, with 4 beds. The whole room is big enough for 6...

We camped here for a night before going to the South Island. The guy who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The kitchen, laundry and shower facilities were small but clean and convenient. Our sleep was disturbed a little by people and campervans coming and going. I guess this was due to ferry crossing times and so no fault...

Comfortable rooms, great restaurant food & exceptionally friendly staff. Conveniently situated & although a little noisy because of motorway, not bad enough to be of concern. Wifi to rooms would be an added bonus! Would have no hesitation in recommending this Motor Inn.
