Powered site booked for one night. It was really just a car park that we stayed in. Toilets/showers. 2 showers for females, so had to queue. Then had to use toilet in reception next day as again, had to queue in main block. Nothing great to say about here except the location was handy. That's it though. It's not really...

The property is in good condition, everything was clean. We used their campground, which is actually a parking lot, so not that beautiful for a longer stay. The best thing is for sure the location - closest possible option for Wellington City (bus stop directly in front of the entrance) and the ferry terminals.

Stayed here because of location. Staff were helpful and we had one dinner there which was nice. However rooms are dated and also smelt musty when we arrived. Beds were comfortable. Seems to be on a flight path and we heard many planes and also near a busy road, but surprisingly traffic noise was not too bad. There is a...

We stopped here for two nights staying in the powered campsites at the back of the motel. The general feeling we got was that the campsites were a bit of an after thought/something to put on the land after the motels were built. However the major positive for this place was its proximity to the interislander ferry to Picton. Bathrooms...

As they say, location, location, location! We stayed here because of its proximity to the Inter Islander ferry terminal (fast early getaway, less traffic hassle) for our camper van, and an extra bonus was the bus stop right opposite the driveway. This allowed us to catch the (green Newlands) bus into the city to explore and get to the iSite...

This was the last motel we stayed in and were there for 2 nights before flying home. We had arrived at around 5.30pm in Wellington on a cold, very windy and wet day. The room was warm even without the heater on so was a blessing to warm up a bit before dinner. Despite being next to a motorway our...

We choose this location for its proximity to the ferry terminal. Staff provided great info on driving to the terminal. Clean facilities, good location and reasonable price. Would stay there again also fairly quite given city location

Great to be at this property for close proximity to the ferries. However that pretty much ends the good points. The room was so cold. Our family was there in the middle of winter and unlike other properties we stayed at on our roadtrip...the heating was terrible. We would turn the heating up to max, leave on all night and...

Found the location perfect for our overnight stays and the close proximity to the Ferry Terminals going to and from the South Island by the Cook Strait Ferries. We had 2 nights where we stayed here. The Restaurant was really nice and warm and cosy on a cold winter's night and the meals were very delicious. . The same could...

Wasn't our first choice but the place we wanted is closed in winter but I really liked this place. Basic parking bays for our motor home, perhaps a little too close together, but WiFi included and we received a pack explaining bus routes to the city along with directions to the ferry the next day. The receptionist was lovely! Didn't...
