The setting for the wedding was very beautiful and wonderfully maintained, however the same can not be said for the accommodation. I last visited this resort about 15 years ago and I do not think the décor in the accommodation villas has been updated since then. The carpets were absolutely disgusting - stained and well past their use-by date. The...

It is perhaps my fault that I did not research Huka Falls Resort more carefully. I had not appreciated that it is a conference and wedding venue with accommodation in the grounds. Although I had seen reference to an old church, I thought it was one locally nearby. From the photos I saw on the site I used, I had...

We are staying here to 2 nights : 2 nights too many. Reception staff not helpful or friendly. I requested a laundry key : I was told it wasn't available because they had all been given out. The room : what can I say ! I think a caravan has more room. We think that the little house has been...

We went there for a weeding and the reception and food was terrific. The accomodation was modern, clean and very good. The reception centre was excellent and the service very good. The accomodation comes in either a motel room with a well appointed bathroom and good bed or the same with a kitchen and small lounge room. The resort is...

On arrival we were given keys to a room already occupied - not ideal! - and had to return to reception which is a bit of a trek in the dark. Our studio room and it was very adequate for a quick overnight stay. Not particularly soundproof from adjoining unit and the bathroom window needs some sort of screening. It...

I guess I expect a little bit more when paying $520 for 2 nights. Older style unit- the wood walls could do with a coat of white paint to modernise it a bit. No extra pillows or no proper cooling system (just noisy skope heaters) and it is very hot inside, too hot for a comfortable sleep. The window safety...

We only stayed overnight in one of theirs studios. This was clean and spacious with a fridge, toaster, microwave and cattle. The house is shared with other bigger appartment but you can hear a lot as it is not much soundproof. 5 mins from Taupo and 5 mins from Huka falls. Outdoor pool available.

It was a great overnight stay on a short one night stay. Lovely presented, beautiful grounds and well located. Spacious rooms. Very tidy and a quiet place to have a great sleep. I absolutely can recommend this place.

Had a great stay at the Huka falls resort, was not able to use the facilities as we were on a tight schedule, but was very happy with the service. Only disadvantage, our bathroom light was not working and had to use the heat lamp in its place. Would happily stay again in the future when we return to Lake...
